@HungryGuyStories safety. this way the gate is down if anyone tries to put their hand in between the doors. idk why it's like that opening though. maybe just so no one interferes with the operating of the door. some doors open and close simultaneously, and that really isn't very safe.

@owenhinton the craft assumptions never made any sense. craft was based in arkansas and i am thinking the craft that macys palisades center was a different company. either way dan just made that assumption because since we found out that palisades was craft he started calling other random elevators craft. everyone but you and him were thinking it was a montgomery.

@ITouchTutorialsHD it seems that at kop, no one gets busted. i saw a security guard while filming a freight elevator, and he didnt seem to care.

Hey DD! Do you know why in freight elevators, the outside door opens fully before the inside door starts to open, and visa versa?

I wondered the same thing. On older freights (60s-80s, for example), the cab gate usually lifted simultaneously with the shaft doors.

I was rode an elevator at a mall, one of the floors was labeled FU! Not sure what that could stand for (other than the obvious one.) Either the mall doesn't like me, or the elevator doesn't like me. Vandalism? don't know how someone could of done that good of a job though.
