Hey Boit, would you consider always leaving the chat on? I actually love seeing what the players write in the chat, makes the game more entertaining in my opinion :)
If the code for Regent was copied from EE the he should be immune to destructive GPs except for lightning storm. Also GPs which summon units can be used to snipe him, like Anc+Ecl or Fimbulwinter.
Basically the balance team were okay with approaching this if it's not stronger than tornado. I would have liked to give 4 charges (enough to kill an unupgraded TC) but yeah, Thoths power is in the elephant and also giving it a huge power spike as well is probably not the best idea. So revert back is probably the better move.
What if remove victory/point mechanics all together on plenty vault, but make it the only place you can garrison the king and only the king. HOWEVER, there is a time limit that, upon reaching 0, kicks out the king and also a cooldown to be able to garrison him back in it.
I think it'd be cool to have an upgrade in the king that converts him into a castle you can't move and has like 5000 HP. Kill the castle kill the player.
I think a lot of tweaks and experimentations are needed to make this more fun and competitive, which is always hard with FFA, but we see some progress. A few ideas (witch don't always work together) : - Kings should be visible at all time after the mother nature cease-fire ; - Kings cannot be garrison in anything ; - Incitation to not hide the king but use it in fighting : make it a SoO (with no/bad attack in the first ages) - Don't lose when king is killed but make it respawn as a Theocrat (neutral, no more points when killed) - Less points given from killing a king, have a more organic score (normal score + king of the hill + regicide) - Timer doesn't reset upon losing the hill, but you do lose 1 or 2 minutes ; - Don't start the timer before minute 10 or need to be mythic age to take vault or another condition (btw would love to know more about the eco of the plenty : how much does it give, does it increase with ages ?) - The map could probably use some averaging mostly so all players can have fish (make a circle of water like migard around the land and spawn players close to the sea ?) - I don't remember the map with migdol protecting gold but maybe u could spawn similar stuff close to the vault ? - Maybe have more plenty vaults ? 1 per player or 1 less than total of players ? - Game has a fixed duration (30 min ?) before it ended but can be finish before is someone finish the timer / kill half the kings - etc.
