this was nuts, that slam on concrete was crazy. As someone who watches reaction streamers who mostly just react to various videos, you did great. only thing i’ll say is rewind whenever big things like that slam happen. Your talk at the end was amazing, you kept this short and sweet.
the sport of mma (also ufc specific rules), the way the rules setup on whats allowed and whats not, the rules already favors grappling a little.. THIS is even more (IF...... theres no striking eye pokes or kick in the nuts allowed and etc., then again i dont know the rules of whats allowed or not in this promotion). But then again with such rules it becomes a meta of who has the best slams and nasty super INTENTIONAL (unlike jon jones try to disguise or ref take point away, thus a hesitant eye poke) eye poke AND chop off balls with kick crotch shot game and etc. of that kind of stuff, and thats not a sustainable sport to live on, fights will be very short 30 sec fight like sumo wrestling and yet very damaging.
@@Mighty15x you’re doing great! You give amazing insight and unlike other reaction channels you give your honest opinion. I grew up respecting you in the ring and now I respect you as a commentator. Thanks Mighty Mouse, you’re truly the GOAT🐐🙏🏻
@@Mighty15x it’s funny because I don’t see it as violence but more of a dangerous competition. People may not understand and think we just want folks to get hurt but it’s not the case.
I didn’t get a chance to watch you live in the UFC as I only started following the sport and training in 2019. I couldn’t quite figure out what the buzz was about you as I kept hearing your name in GOAT discussions but man are you something else. You initially won me over by being a genuinely good dude and I’ve got nothing but respect for you after actually watching your fights. You’re doing a really cool thing on RU-vid and I’m enjoying the hell out of these breakdowns. I’d love to see more of what your day to day looks like and what your training and eating routines are. I’m still figuring stuff out as an up an coming fighter and getting some advice from the Mighty one himself would go a long way. Nothing but love 🐭
It’s because we’re getting a actual expert reacting to them. Not some guy who lives with his mom and somehow gets 2 million subscribers from reacting to other peoples videos lol
@@Mighty15x I’m with this guy and all the other comments. Reaction videos clickbaity or gimmicky tactics just made me hate the internet a lot. Almost completely ignored it for the rest of my life. Glad to watch you Chanel and thanks for making my life not so boring now lol. Hey I got a quick question? Someone who’s 25 never worked out or done sports who should I follow from learning day one how to walk? And from a different perspective someone who’s never been in a fighting sport what would you recommend learning first? Boxing, bjj, muay tai? I’m 5’4-5’3 ish.
Hooboi the best street fighter I ever seen your last fight was crazy what a performance !! From Europe king of the street is the best fightclub in the world
I get that everything going on here is about an image but damn dude the concrete. Feel like most fatalities in street fights don't come from the blow that knocks you out but the impact your head makes with concrete after.
It'd be so awesome if you reacted to/analyzed more of their fights man, it's such a fascinating insight of an actual clean, composed, and professional fighter doing play-by-play on some unadulterated grimy street fighting
Hooibooi is also KSW's Welterweight division fighter, he's fighting Artur Szczepaniak at KSW 76 EDIT : Also he was supposed to fight for the belt but KSW backed away from making Hooibooi vs Bartos happen. Probably due to contract related problems
Hey man I really appricate you reading my comment and breaking down these fights! In hindsight, I realize these might be too much and I understand if you don't break any more down. Regardless it's awesome to get this video!
Thats great to hear man, and I gotta say both the fighters and the hosts of these fights show massive respect to each other that I don't see very often. Hope to see more from you soon!
Lets go! finally mate. Its a way to settle differences between football fans that differ in politics most of the time. Sometimes its just for fun. Either way it is growing massively here in Europe, having fighters from all over the continent showing up. It is a cultural thing. Dont try to understand it. Also, they are always in undisclosed locations hence the masks and privacy about their look
Bruh, stop it. You're embarrassing us calling _this_ a cultural European thing. We're supposed to at least maintain a veneer of sophistication towards the yanks. This shit's illegal af and draws a great deal of society's dregs - mostly football hooligans and neo-nazis. Not exactly the best that Europe has to offer.
@@hk-4738 sometimes its easier to accept the world we live in... i came around with people travelling the whole continent trying to stand for what we believe in. Now there is a bigger platform and people have all the right to use it
Crazy how such a small dangerous package is so kind and carrying all the time. Mr GOAT stay you sir, you given myself many great evenings enjoying quality fights. However just recently discoverying your channel,(I am not into steaming and gaming much) it’s great to see you in your element following your passion. Post fight interviews with you were always positive with the respect you have always shown. Thank you kind sir. I don’t subscribe to many and honestly hate most reactions videos but just realized why people like them. It’s all about the respect and/or admiration you have for the person reacting in the video. Keep up the good work and continue to have fun and being that truly decent human we all should thrive to be. There are many GOATs in this world but the is only one MIGHTY GOAT
Brian Hooi / Hooibooi, the black fighter is in Bellator, he got his fighter license revoked in the Netherlands after this, meaning he cant fight pro in the netherlands for a couple of years
@@Mighty15x i wasn't that far in the vid yet. Saw the moment now. And also, it's what probably everybody thinks bcs the sight and sound of a head, bouncing of concreting is nothing short of disgusting. Stepping in there is just stupid. Streetbeef is still somewhat ok but this? Ewwww...
Every time I hear on the news about a streetfight where someone dies (which happens far too often unfortunately), it's because they got knocked out and hit their head on the concrete. It could easily happen here.
K.O.T.S started out in my home town, Gothenburg (Sweden). We’re a city full of football hooligans (look up “Wisemen” for example) so most of the fighters are probably hooligans with a martial arts background.
Masks are on because its not legally authorized, so it can affect your job, licences in pro organisations, access to stadium (lot of "holligans" in KOTS) etc. etc.
Man, maybe i am repeating myself but everytime i watch one of your streams i can see clearer why the best pound for pound athlete of the world was not welcome by UFC. You are too good for Dana White and for his promotion. Thanks again for being such a good role model.
I watched a couple of these fights and one thing I noticed is that submissions are really rare. Actually made me reconsider the effectiveness of BJJ if there’s no rules.
I also think in general it might just be a bravado of grappling not being “real fighting” and also most guys with bjj backgrounds probably just don’t wanna fight like this in the first place
They sort out the submissions before the fight, most of them agree to have no subs, I think to avoid broken arms and legs every fight, but I have seen chokes, one dude won by eye gouge, tkos of course, surrenders and fights with subs allowed on the fight cards on their website, but at least I haven’t seen an armbar or leg lock on their channel here on yt, these guys are nuts
@@elferras9291 seems crazy to have a “no rules” fighting club n then turn around n say “yeah no submissions this fight” lol. Yet fighting on grass or anything soft would “kill the point”
Wtf is this video, we're watching you react to a slides how, the fight was half done before we saw any moving image and then it was 2seconds...c'mon man!
I like KOTS because the fight goes until it's finished with no rounds. I wish those were standard MMA rules. I like that it's bare knuckle. I'm okay with kicking a downed opponent. Not sure how I feel about the heat butting, but the eye gouging like Eric Olsen does a step too far for me. I've seen it in a couple of their fights and it's cowardly. I'm fine with eye gouging as a real move in desperation to win a fight that your life depends on, but it doesn't have any place in sport. KOTS always defends themselves as being no rules, guess that means they're cool with biting too?
They've pissed me off, they essentially banned eye gouging by saying you can still do it but you won't get paid, but they have instituted a bonus for biting. To me gouging is something which you should be able to defend against, biting is a real desperation move and will likely only work if you bite a guys nose off or something really extreme, whereas you can just press on an eye in top position and get the fight stopped and the guy won't be blind. I've seen a lot of guys try to gouge from the bottom and it doesn't seem to work. Getting top position in a no rules street fight is huge.
So you know, Hooboi, the black athlete, is actually a real professional fighter in Europe (which explains the skill gap with other fighters). And they all wear mask because it's illegal and the people organising it would be in trouble if the police were to catch them.
I haven’t watched the full vid but i hope DJ gets to see the fight where dude was on the ground and the other guy stood on his neck and stomped his head for the TKO. That was wild!!
So much risk and damage for nothing. Just must to be mad to agree fighting for that show they don't cake about Athletes, this is so wrong. HOPE NEW GENERATION get it right - this is no bravery for being stupid and put yourself to fighting condition like that. Just useing comen sens, you must to be dumb to sing up for this. Hell No cutman/doc will bring your life or brain healthy back everyone knows that. I dont believe this still exist.. Maybe prize is wheelchair
I agree, it’s brutal but it’s brutal to the point of stupidity. On the one hand, zero regulation wouldn’t involve a ref (the biggest restraint of all) so advocates can’t say it’s entirely the ‘real’ thing. On the other hand, if there was so much regulation that it no longer resembled a fight, then it loses its sense of a primal duel. As a viewer, I’m happy with the artificial cutoffs that UFC makes, even though that makes for some ‘gaming’ of the rules. The warriors in the UFC and here are still human, and I mind when I see any fighter with sustained injuries, especially signs of CTE. Sadists will be among the audience, and I can only assume they enjoy seeing those kinds of injuries. And the idiocy of death-by-concrete seems like such a tragic waste that no-one except psychopaths wants to see
I think these guys are more savages than athletes and dont care about the medical implications. Some men just want to fight regardless of the consequences, also im not sure its the kind of promotion that is going to offer any kind of medical help or accept liability for any serious or bad situations or injuries. I mean they are literally on a concrete floor theres no thought gone into this other than organising where to go and fight.
Since these fights are elegal in Europe and most of the fighters are Hooligans from all over Europe, everyone but the fighters wear masks. So that they don't get caught.
These my friend are football hooligans. A european thing. Why people have mask is to not show their identity for feds etc. And ofc the ref is not gonna show hes face tjat would be stupid as hell. This is not legal in Sweden as where they are
Seeing the way guys go down sometimes when there's a knockout I think fighting on concrete is about as dumb as it gets, just go fight on the grass or something.
itd be great if we could see what youre seeing as youre talking about it, instead of you cutting to a paused moment then speaking about what just occured when we didnt get the chance to see said occurence
Man, been watching that league for a while now, friggin brutal.. there's some American dude who eye gouged some other guy, it was disgusting imo. its a recent fight i believe
People die when the mats are there anyways so this is just extra ridiculous that they are in concrete... It's so cringe inducing and not the normal type of cringe either
It is so wildly dystopian from the intro to the setting of the fights. I adore combat sports and have the utmost respect for those that compete but the idea of someones head cracking against concrete is too much. Someone will die in one of these fights or become a vegetable for the rest of their lives; sure these guys know what they are getting into but damn society isn't this far gone is it? I know of one death in my local community that came from a street altercation/fight, untrained, too much to drink, the impact hitting the road killed him. I like it when combat athletes get to walk away and fight again. Only found your channel thanks to an Asmongold video about you explaining hot tub streams to Joe Rogan 😂 a sentence I never thought I'd use! So glad you're doing well, UFC216 was the first time I stayed up to watch the UFC and thanks to that finish hooked ever since.
@@Mighty15x ah yeah my bad, football in u.k and Europe..soccer in America ✌️proper mentalists who "live and bleed for there club" look up polish hooligan's the nutters lol
They aren't athletes though... They're hooligans, fighting men. They would've been fighting anyway, at least this is in a somewhat controlled environment.
There is something wrong with me. Thankfully I still prefer sanctioned combat... but this is like... fighting porn. Cant watch it around my loved ones. This shits weird man. I need 303 to happen. Felt good watching you react to this thanks.
YESSS FINAL . I can't wait for everyone to see this and English wilf is a 4/5 and 0 in there and is the only UK guy there. And he is a bkb fighter and Maui thai
