King & Queen Of Lesotho Visits Bhutan || Princess Maseesio Mohato Seeiso & Senate Mohato Seesio
The King and Queen of Lesotho, along with their daughters, Princess Senate Mohato Seeiso and Princess Maseeiso Mohato Seeiso, are currently on an eight-day state visit to Bhutan. This visit, taking place from August 20th to 27th, 2024, marks a historic occasion as it is the first time a Head of State from an African nation has visited Bhutan.
The Royal Family of Lesotho was warmly welcomed at Paro Airport by members of the Bhutanese royal family, including Princess Chimi Yangzom Wangchuck, Princess Dechen Yangzom Wangchuck, and Princess Eeuphelma Choden Wangchuck, along with senior government officials. The reception included a static guard of honor and students and DeSuups lining the route to Thimphu to greet the visitors.
During their stay, the Lesotho Royals will engage in various ceremonial and diplomatic activities, including an audience with the King and Queen of Bhutan.
