Hallelujah Chorus is a peak into Heaven where we would like to be with our Almightyb. The time is not known to anybody but we can aspire to be there . May Lord forgive us and keep us with HIM forever . Handel has left us a legacy for ALL .
I am greatly saddened about the passing of Dr. Stephen Cleobury. The King's College Choir is the World's Best Choir & if I wasn't afraid of flying I would have visited Cambridge at least twice by now. I have been an Anglophile since I first heard a CD of the KCC in 1994. RIP Dr. Cleobury!

It was the most Eternal Life & Memory, our Broadway was based on the Jews in Russia"ANATEVKA" for 1 whole week in the Evening of 2 hours each for 5 Evenings, and we always Close it with HALLELUJAH CHORUS 🙏. TO ME THIS THE APEX OF MY LIFE EXPERIENCE PERFORMING IN FRONT OF ALL PARENTS & FAMILY OF THE GREATER SUVA CITY REGION. ALWAYS DREAM OF DOING IT AGAIN WITH THE MULTI-RACIAL CHOIR IN FIJI. I BELIEVE WE WERE THE LAST GROUP GO PERFORM IT AS A MULTI-RACIAL CHOIR IN FIJI 🙏. NOW IT IS DONE BUT NOT LIKE THE BROADWAY WE DID 43 YEARS AGO [I stand to be corrected]. THUS I LOVE KING'S COLLEGE CHOIR, WESTMINSTER ABBEY CHOIR & CENTENARY METHODIST CHURCH CHOIR & other International Choirs RENDITIONS OF HANDLE'S MESSIAH, "THE HALLELUJAH CHORUS" 🙏🥰💙❤️🙏🙏😘
The 3rd Option 👍👏yes! I'm not as impressed with orchestra accompaniment for the Hallelujah Chorus. I'm an *organ* geek not an orchestra geek, so I am glad this is organ accompaniment. The Choir of King's College Cambridge is the world's best choir!👍👏

no other performance of this piece has ever been better; no other performance of this piece will ever be better. all other choirs: refrain from trying to perform it. Instead, play this one.
Hildugard I like it for *both* Christmas and Easter. By the way, the Choir of King's College, Cambridge is the world's best choir and the organ is the world's best instrument.
@@charlottethomsen8076 Handel was German by birth but he was naturalised as a British subject by King George I and spent most of later career living in England. So it is incorrect to describe Handel as just German.
What a shame the video/audio was cut before the reverberation of the final chord had decayed fully! I hate it when that happens! Spoils the ending completely.
What does this even mean? The organ and the choir are together, therefore one cannot be fast if the other is not fast. They are at the same tempo. If you mean the singers don't appear to exert any effort to sing the phrases at this tempo, and you prefer it slower, then that's fine, but I'm not sure if that's what you're saying. However, if you think this is anything but a moderate tempo for the piece, you may need to do a little research on Baroque music.
The Majestic Choir brings inspiration and joy as I listen. However, the choir at times 'yodels' occationally. As an experienced organist who teaches a choir, yodelling is one thing to minimise. Overall excellent choir
To my great disappointment I have come to notice that each and every Hallelujah Chorus is played fast in youtube, including this. Not that its sung fast but it is played fast on youtube. Any idea why that is?
