they already mentioned that a new Kings Field release is highly unlikely for now since Naotoshi Jin, the original producer, left the company. Miyazaki even said that the game would probably lack most of its original appeal without Jin's input. they were working on a new sequel, but the idea got scrapped and then turned into Demon's Souls. there hasn't been much talk about a sequel since then. i really hope they do consider it in the future though, the games might have been tough as nails and a little clunky, but still very appealing!

Woaaahhh, I’ve never touched kings field a day in my life. But I heard this and thought it was some unused demons souls track. I absolutely adore demons souls and this track alone is making me want to look at trying kings field out.
This soundtrack makes me yearn for some deep secret lore of KF, for another game that would be a deep spiritual experience like first time playing DS. After KF4, DmS, DS1, BB, DS3 fromsoft didn't move me to the core with Sekiro and ER, those two were great but soulless.
@@pavlosama2222 Elden Ring feels so much like dark souls 2 sequel - they throw heap of lore at you but none of it holds the same gravitas as the better games in the franchise. Dark souls (1&3) feels like Divine Comedy, it's thoughtful, poetics, moving. And noone can tell me any town other than Leyndell in ER is as 3D as even Undead Burg or Settlement in DS1 and DS3.
@@10hawell i dont think ER will be remembered as fondly as it was years after its release, because more people (i hope) will start to realize that you are absolutely correct. I've been saying ER is like ds2 but better ever since it came out lol. I honestly sorta feel bad that ER was the soulsgame to really reach into the mainstream because I feel like fromsoft from now on might follow in suit and try to make more things like it, even though their focused linear experiences are the best they have to offer. i gotta know what you think of the demons souls remake?
@@10hawell Idk I love DS2. I don't like ER nearly as much because it feels like it copies the DS lore and just twists it a bit. DS2 just feels the most mystical to me. Majula, small quirky things like these faces in the walls, that kinda small stuff adds so much to me. And of course the DLCs. The Ivory King is awe inspiring to me. I know that most people look down on DS2, but I feel like it is a brave game. It deviates from the formula of its predecessor more than DS3 does, and that gives it a nice charm. Looking at the trailers and stuff, knowing what it could've been, it's a bit sad that DS2 is the way it is, but I still enjoy it greatly.
