I've seen it all now. At 18:00 the trooper is adjusting the horse's bit and there are tourists petting its nose all the while. Have they had lobotomies? Not to mention the man who won't get out of the way while waiting for his pic to be taken. Good Lord.

Some people seem to think this place is a Holiday camp, where they can just lounge around. I know it's hot, but even so. There's a time and a place. Parents seem to be letting their children wander. 🇬🇧🙄

Good evening John. They say you're never too old to learn something new. I've been riding horses since I was 6 years old (now 77) and I just found out that one should never approach a horse from the front as that is where it's blind spot is and they are easily startled. Also, horses don't really like their faces rubbed. They prefer their neck or shoulder. My dad was a Col. In the army and where he was stationed they had Cav. I used to ride those horses on Sat. as a kid because they knew I was an experienced rider and probably because of my dads rank. Probably wouldn't happen today.

Fluency in bollocks is a survival trait these days to be honest John. And I’m starting to think there’s a “looks” criteria to join the HHC because they’re all SO damn pretty, just as a baseline, with one or two utterly gorgeous individuals, like a certain favourite trooper, or that very tall lad, thrown in to spice things up. They’re a very handsome and impressive(esp the Blues, but I’m possibly a tad biased) regiment tho which ofc is the intention. Insulting the guards and giggling isn’t funny to anyone other than the idiots that do it. Thank you for trying to explain that to your new friend. It really was a beautiful day tho, weirdos notwithstanding….that sky was stunning. With voices, it’s not so much loudness, but more clarity and projection. Someone with good projection can make a moderately loud voice reach to the far corners of an auditorium…..I can lol(tho plenty of folk tell me I’m just “loud” lol) it’s just a matter of practice and training.

John you are funny..There was a posh very expensive boys school where I used to live in the Midlands ,every Friday they were given military training ,I used to pop out from work lunchtime to grab some lunch and you could hear the sergeant major drilling the kids ,it would of taken at least 10 mins to walk to the school from the shopping centre so his voice was super loud, there must be a few deaf kids walking around😂

Hello John, I watched your video from yesterday again, with those two guys. I played it a few times in a row, had a good laugh of course. But they claimed Mark was there to film incidents, which isn't true. Yet they themselves provoked an incident, so they had their "moment of glory" or made fools of themselves. Until the Trooper shouted at them to leave. The police had been keeping an eye on those "lads" for a while. And no, they aren't police officers or were ones; London police are generally friendly people, quite different from here.

That trooper in camos is a boxman but wr havent seen him for quite a while but now in December we still don't see him i think he got rid of Karen back in the summer he's a great guard i miss him😢

Is Buska OK? I saw the video yesterday. So did they come back and start a fight? Makes me sad that that happened

You made a point about the uniforms never changing... I have a question that I'm sure someone will be able to answer - The mounted troopers wear breast and back plates (cuirasse ?)... The unmounted troopers seem to wear cuirasses or not at random intervals - even one being relieved by another... Is there a policy that both on foot should be dressed to match?
