Remember eating ribs in Harvey, IL at George’s on 144th and Seely. The ribs always were tender, delicious and unlike my home in Indy they placed French Fries on top of the ribs. Thank u for bringing back a wonderful memory 😊

Nice that you checked them out.. because in truth at the time they was the only one that gave you a all around traditional charcoal experience in barbecue... I should know during the early nineties I was one of the many head pit masters who worked there.cooking ribs outside in the back on Lafayette road.rain . Sleet or snow.. running 6 grill at one time at that location.just saying...$ 8:00 a hour St Louis style ribs and half chickens... all put on a steam table... with heated sauce.. I served thousands. And I'm not the only one...

King ribs in West Indy is hit and miss.. sometimes there good sometimes they are bad, very bad. You can always tell when the ribs are yesterday's ribs.

I just had some rib tips from king rib and they were the worst not trying to be disrespectful, but I’m just keeping it real and it’s so sad that there is no real good barbecue places in the city of Indianapolis none whatsoever my rib tips were tasteless with a bunch of sauce on them and plus they put the sauce over my rib tips when I asked for them to put it on the side so I feel like king rib should step up your game are completely shut down I’ve tasted better ribs at Golden corral. Have a nice day. Oh yeah, this was the location on Georgetown Road.

I don't understand who is keeping these ppl in business. The grease alone is a turn-off. If you put it in the fridge and come back later. You will see the thick layer of grease cooled off at the top. 🤮

I’ve lived in Indy for over 20 years and I’ve had Kings Ribs twice …. I’m so sorry. It’s not good Bar B Que in my humble opinion. It’s overcooked and tastes like rubber. Seriously…. City Bar B Que is very good though

They don’t wash or clean the meat. The sauce is horrible. I moved to Indiana 30 yrs ago from Missouri and Indiana knows nothing about BBQ.
