I've been really curious about this place for a long time, but being shy made me always not go try it out. I think COVID has made me realize life is to short not to try things, I'm going to go for it.
Go for it! The pass allows you to stay up to 24 hours. You can spend a night there, eat Korean food, watch movies in their cinema - so much fun. Enjoy!!
I've been here so many times, It's in Nile drive if you were wondering! Also, great food DON'T FORGET it is so damn relaxing. THERE ARE EVEN HEATED FLOORS FOR CRYING OUT LOUD.
I live in Chicago and I’m thinking about trying this place out. I can’t believe I’ve never heard of this place before. I went online and saw that nudity is mandatory? Is it certain areas only? How much is admission now and what does it include? Thanks for any insight!
The admission is $50 according to their website and it includes access to all saunas except maybe for one which you pay additional $5. You can stay there up to 24 hrs even sleep overnight in their large chairs or on a heated floor. They also have a mini cinema room which is included. Additional fees are for massages and food. Regarding nudity - clothes are not allowed in saunas that are inside the change rooms. Once you are in common area where the most of the saunas are, you will be wearing a uniform which they provide. Very unique experience!
@@TheWorldTraveler Absolutely a great experience!! Was blown away by the extreme heat in the sudatorium. Was in there for a good 5 minutes only though. Thinking about going with the entire family soon. I will try to implement sauna into my life on a more regular basis. Was looking to see if King Spa offered a membership. Looking on their website I don’t see anything…
Each person who comments this must not be from the Chicagoland area or something😂 Yes us Chicago folk know this and it doesn’t bother us one bit! OHare isn’t in Chicago either but we all know it as a Chicago airport
@@eveevolution1607Just a heads-up, O'Hare is on Chicago land and has a Chicago address. Chicago owns a little strip of land just south of the fashion outlets that connects the city proper and the airport. You can see it on a map.
So, they are sending me articles about bathing and how American men prefer not to bath everyday. They stink. I personally like spas and saunas. I have been to The King Spa in Dallas many times, and love it. It's a Health Resort and Spa for holistic healing. I highly recommend going there if you are in Chicago or Dallas.
Michael Ewing Perfect then. The best time to go, I believe, is in winter - the best way to warm up. We are from Toronto, so we know what winter feels like. And for the full experience, spend a night there. The pass that you buy gives you a 24-hour access to the facilities. They have great Korean food there. So it could be a mini getaway. :)
