Better sound from 12 track tape in 1975 than the computerized endless track autocue music we hear now, things get worse with technology. Luddites are right,

Rip King Tubby. The best sound. The deepest sound. Still rare to hear drum and bass sounding as good as in 70s and 80s Jamaican music. In some aspects we have gone backwards.

Very true! Playing 70s-80s tune just murders most present music. New dub is simple. Simply most new sound has no soul.

I was 16, in 1975, and heard Tubby's, i could not believe how awesome it sounded, i became a sound engineer.

Courtney Williams same deal here...I heard Scratch Perry live in 2004 my senior year in high school and I’ve been flying ever since...I also became a engineer of music...still vibin strong...Roots 🌿🤙🏽

tubby 's was a master technician and engineer he build is own amplifier,he and a guy name brooks that build my amplifier use to work together.Those were the days when we had tube amplifiers.i remember one time he had 2 -16 kt88 playing just bass.Nobody else had that kind of power.
