They've all been done with care to take into account the circumstances surrounding the upbringing of individuals from and in these broken communities. He even gives a brief history of the gangs origins and how condition forced them to evolve into what they are today. If I could suggest anything it might be to include information on grassroot organizations built to help the communities he's reporting on so viewers can donate. Or a portion of the uncut patron video proceeds could go towards community efforts

I DID study violence among various demographics of American youth while getting my Master’s in psych, and I’ve never seen any scientific evidence that suggests the black community lacks accountability more than other minority groups, or other demographics such as: ANY minority, low SES/underprivileged populations, etc…. If a faceless major media conglomerate /corporation like Amazon or Netflix had created TLR's Von documentary , everybody would be throwing at it the critical acclaim it deserves , RU-vid as a platform & it's (talented) creators deserve props not abuse , or else we will have no alternative to the said corporate productions & it's revisionist history. This was a very productive conversation and I appreciate all four for participating. Hiphop needs to have more conversations like this. We need to truly analyze how the media, the rappers, and social media contribute to the cycles of violence in our neighborhoods.

Not really Ross got most of his information from a youtube channel that first broke the war between BDs and GDs. Ross just repacked it for the "middle class" audience.
