Seeing how many were knocked for Ducks case, they were definitely coming for him again soon. What was saving him all this time is the fact he beat a murder once already. He probably did everything thinking if they try knock him again, he'll have enough to cover the time it takes for him to try beat the case. So I'd assume he has maybe another year or so worth of stuff he had prepared since those situations usually take 2-3 years to sentence for
