Yella been around for a long time.. documented too.. it’ll be smart for him to write a script, book, or some kind of treatment for a show/movie. That time is coming where movies/series based on Chicago are going to be a hot commodity. Jump ahead of the game right now.. line yourself up with directors, and studio execs.
Sounds good to people like you and me who may know the chiraq culture, but in reality it's difficult. Especially if you want to get on a level like BoyzNTheHood classicism. Chiraq culture is raw and it really makes no sense..there's no deeper philosophical reason why those kids are out there killing--they're just killing to be killing because that's just what they do. The chiraq story hasn't been properly told yet, although many have tried in documentaries and certain other little things..It's all about finding a story that everybody can relate to, something with a universal story that all people can grab on to. Not everybody can do that with Chiraq as their raw material because it just comes out like that KI documentary from A&E, glorifying genocide..You gotta create a project that makes people look at it from another perspective other than violence, make the characters universally relatable, etc. It's difficult to do that with chiraq content man but maybe Yella has the personality to do it. Normal people aren't interested in Chicago gang culture because it's like "Okay they're killing each other for no reason, I feel guilty for even giving them my attention and validating this", It's a good time, 10 years later after drill...I'd say a documentary featuring the rappers giving real, emotional stories about their come-up would do. Interview keef, reese, yella, and show their journey from then to now, and that would be perfect because it'd show that these kids created something long-lasting and lost a lot in the process,
@@sabot4ge that’s a good idea, man, somewhat like a Soft White Underbelly Style interview, but made into a documentary with footage, news clips, etc.. I still think there’s some amazing stories to be told, especially for a series built around summertime Chicago in the peak of Drill.. Use 3-4 months to base the story around. Even include real individuals to speak in between, as transitions.. so the people can see the pain too. Trying to make sense of senseless violence. There’s so many examples that show it’s very possible.. the average person loves crime drama, long as there’s passion put into the project like a Narcos, The Wire, and The Sopranos. It’s a thought tho..I appreciate the reply too. You made some very valid points..
There's no such thing as BD ' when David join forces with Larry it became BGD ' BD and Supreme Gangster's was no longer . It became all as one ' once David was gone Larry dropped the B leaving it to be Gangster Disciple later Growth and Development . Even if Shorty picked up the B it would still be BGD
feds is pretty chill. they dont tolerate all that violence. if a group attacks another group, they are going to pretty much separate you forever and make sure you never be around that group again. county jails are the only time when people set trip because they are inexperienced criminals, like the triple a baseball team, and in prison it's a different ballgame, whether it's state or feds. nobody's running around wilding, it's all professional and people say excuse me when they bump into you. That's why the streets are stupid, the same people you kill, you unite with in prison and protect. The same mfs in the streets who make fun of dopefiends and treat them bad if they short on money, go to prison and end up having to fall in line with a dopefiend who has the keys to the yard/controls the prison, If you're smart you realize it's all just an illusion
Dont nobody wanna be on lockdown and not able to conduct business behind the wall you still got mouths to feed violence disrupts money on the streets & jail
Nigga we the opposition... shout out to my competition... load up nugga gun go click clack.. talm peace treaty i aint wit the chit chat.. shout out yella folks 74 till the world blow
Interesting, Im from Chicago and don't know about the feds. Yella said that everybody from here (Chicago) are allied in the feds that's interesting, Brothers (⭐) and Folks (✡) eatting together really?! That sound like the old LSD movement (Vice Lords, Stones, Disciples). But what about the out of town Vice Lords and Stones? Do they eat, sit, and rotate with the Brothers (⭐) from the Chicago alliance or kick it with their own region?
I think in Minnesota, the Moes and Lords are definitely cordial. But every neighborhood over north is its own gang. Can't tell these new age kids ANYTHING.
Yea, Illinois is different wit the prison system compare to other states. They go wit the racial way where u have to stick to your race. In Illinois, that gang shit aint tolerated at all, but u might be sitting wit a black n a white person if u Mexican just cuz of your gang affiliation. But ive been told by some of the guys that been in prison outta state n they said the same thing folkkz just said bout all chitown mobs sticking together
16 foo 🧢 FCI’s are not dorms they mediums and medium highs lol I did 10yrs trust me I know and he not gone be on count and put his hands on no members at all .
In Washington state prisons at least, as soon as you hit the yard the black car is all one. Blood crip gd BD whatever. Enemies put put btue BS to the side and they all roll as one.
Yo that's some real shit fam frfr idgaf about being fly I spend 100$ for my whole fit for my music video and shit way better than these. Niggas flexing designer but live with mama
There is no 8 ball here in Chicago, it's just Brothers (⭐) and Folks (✡) behind the wall. 1 Love are the Folks, GDs, BDs, together because of "life love loyalty" then you have Latin Folks like the MLDs, Cobras, Two Six, Imperial Gangsters, SDs, etc etc.
And if you wanna wear your homies chains you’ll wear your homies chains too. Lmao!!! I like Yella but he str8 up is wearing some other dudes chains and talking bout someone wearing they homies chains. I knew u thought that shit too 16. It’s cool bro….lol!!
