Just picked up the 48lc model from Amazon yesterday for 241 something. And can’t wait for it to arrive. Been having a real hard time getting my temps up in my tup collection and hopefully this thing winds up paying for itself multiple times over in heating and cooling savings now that i won’t be trying to keep the whole house a certain temp just for the sake of my sticks lol

Yo don’t set the humidity you need to add something like boveda packs, beads or a humidification system. For a unit that small boveda packs or whatever brand u have is good enough. Make sure you season the unit and wait before adding your sticks.
My son just received his humidor and I’m trying to season it. This unit has 2 containers; one is free standing the other container is located just under the fan…which one should hold the water or beads???
isnt the second container in the back to catch condensation , mine has few water drops forming all the time , difference between room temp and inside of the humidor is about 5 degrees
Very minor but yea they all usually do. At least a little from the fans. A fridge would be louder because it has a compressor to move the Freon. If it’s that loud u might have an issue but keep an eye on it and try and find where the noise is coming from to narrow down if u might have a problem. @@SuperBass1964 they keep changing their policies so we just tring to get the content out and “follow the rules” when we made this video it was a big problem and now they leaned up a bit on that.
No they only go into slots that are fixed. U can put them in any order but that’s it. Hope that helps, thank you for the comment! Please consider subscribing
I know you have kind of have already answered this, but does the fan always run on yours? Ive noticed it is always running on mine and was curious if that is normal or not? Thanks.
The fan should really only be on when the unit is cooling and might stay on for a little while after cooling process is finished to help cycle. But 24/7 no.
@@The_Rev_RoomInteresting. I asked the question on Amazon and someone said theirs always runs. I wonder if maybe it's because I have the 48l v? I'll probably just have to reach out to Kingchii for a definitive answer. Thanks for the reply!
it not suppose to always run , just fyi you cant have humidor seating in 80 degree room and cooling it down to 70 , it will create a lot of condensation
@@darkopetrovic9890 I ended up reaching out to Kingchii and they told me it should always run. Picked up a second one and the fan always runs on that one as well.
Hey brother, any issues with noise? I set mine up and the noise is constant. Low annoying fan noise. 😢 Wondering if it ever cuts out, or I got a defective unit. Also, just noticed my fan is not moving at all. Thank you for your help!
Mine isn’t loud at all, it’s definitely possibly u have a faulty fan or something is wrong there. I would reach out to customer service and see if something can be done for that. Thanks for the comment please consider subscribing
