Interesting how kinger's outfit implies he is either partially abstracted or has somhow gained power over abstraction, also I love the detail that the tiles the enemy team tampered with lead to a pit of abstracts, maybe peices "claimed" such as kaufmo have their souls or minds trapped in the abstract?

I feel like Gangle was originally a black pawn which shows in her outfit as well as why she shows up on the other team when the white team was surrounded. I believe Kinger allowed this change due to possibly Queenie favoring Gangle and Gangle not being as ruthless as the other black team members. It could also be possible that Gangle was moved by Cain and requested she changed teams which Kinger allowed for some reason.

I love the fact that when kinger butted in and said “so you’d best prepare” i love how their staffs eyes were looking at eachother.. just a little hint that kinger is still kinger

Note: I did not mention Kaufmo because in the canon series he was abstracted and Kinger is the main villain in the Digital Chess Au.

Unless I’m forgetting chess rules, Kaufmo’s a bishop, and Kinger was on a tile he could access diagonally. Kinger’s in check. Since bishops can move as many tiles as they want, as long as it’s diagonally, Kaufmo was in the perfect position to take Kinger and end the game. If he just moved all the way to Kinger’s tile, the game would be over, but he stopped one tile before. Did he just get scared? Got cold feet and couldn’t finish the move, ending his turn and letting Kinger take him instead?

My God! This'll be a fun take for another premise with the same kind of characters per se but this is way more morbid tho. The Circus would be a psychological hell hole while the Chessboard would be true survival, finding a way to strategize and with mere combat. Idk what the idea behind this AU but it's super interesting and I'm so enamoured with the amount of hardwork on making it to a fan song. Highly commendable on each and everyone's part. Kudos.

I just realized Caine is a bishop by his hat- In a way Caine is preaching both for and against Kinger with he way says plays along and play by the rules but also not to fighting amongst each other and noy to kill (sin). Both Rags and Jax are Rooks. Caine and Kof are Bishops based off the hats.. I think Gangle mighy also be a rook or knight because of the symbol on their chest but it's hard to tell. I thing Zooble mighy have a similar case to pomni which but has a pawn on the side of her head, but do to the chain mill armor i doubt it. Which would mean (Assuming Gangle is a knight for this) The black side currently has Three knights Two Rooks One Bishop since Kof is dead. I have a feeling Kinger the Singer is cheating.. That Zinger.. Edit: On close expectations, Gangles Symble appears to be two Pawns.. Which means White only has Two knights. Gangle is a pawn. God why is Gangle treated so horribly, between her "Fan-Art" and her active amusement in the show. This is truly how Gangle would be treated, Good Job.
