This series will continue very soon. I have to finish the mountain lion video edits. It has taken so long because my approach to playing the mountain lion.
I love the channel. It’s what ultimately made me take the plunge and start playing KDM. That being said, season 4 was never finished. You started a new season with the gamblers chest, now we have this five year campaign??? Really starting to feel like things are all over the place.
Season 4 is an unfortunate situation as I really wanted to play Gambler Chest. Then with the star philosophy being revealed on Black Friday I did not want to burn myself out on Stars before getting the philos. This campaign was something I was planning on always doing when I got Black Knight, however, the campaign is not easy and the rules of this campaign require a hard reset when any survivor other than Owen dies. You lose the campaign right then and there if that happens. This requires 5 lantern years of perfect play. Not something that can be done easily. I explain this at the end of the video. I assumed I could get the videos out before starting season 6. Little did I know that it would be such a difficult campaign. Comments like this one, about campaigns being hard to follow and constantly restarting led to my decision to not release these videos until I had all 5 recorded. The only way these affect Season 6 is the time it takes for me to now edit them. Comments like this on my live-stream season were heard and listened to.
Really enjoyed the video. Crazy that this is run 4. I enjoy the live stream games but I also enjoy your normal video format. As others have said always enjoy your content
At 23:25 i belive you misscounted the knock backs the initial knockback would be 4 When it hits the next status 2 remain. + 4 = 6 when it hits the next status 3 remain + 4 = 7. the survivorswould stop its movement on some pots 1 space away from the edge.
@@BraMithra I think the difference is the square that is the statue still counts towards the distance. 1,2 Statue (2+4=6), 1,2 ,3 statue (3+4=7), 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 ending on small pots.
5:31 to try be as non-spoiler as possible, there may be other ways to raise Iola’s suspicion level outside of showdowns between years 3, 4 and 5 👀. Looking forward to this run through, this vignette campaign is incredible
That is true. I think I may have stated this poorly, as my point was because of the nature of this ability (returning during the aftermath) you can only trigger it once per year.
Thanks for doing this Bra. I’m in the middle of painting all my Q1 purchases so won’t get to this for awhile. It looks (4th time) pretty tough so glad you can give some pointers. Although I do tend to roll better than you (😀 I know that makes no sense).
You can do it! I do have bad luck at times and this fight can be is really fun. I did play this specific fight 4 times, but not because I kept losing to it, it was the hard reset starting back at the beginning. Mountain Lion is the real challenge and I am sure that was just me and my bad luck. I do not think you can consistently win against the mountain lion with out luck.
I think they is a great format. I totally agree with your outro. I would love to know a final count for this. I.e. how many times the mountain lion killed someone.
I did not count the number of times the mountain lion killed someone lol. It would not be a big number however, as if anyone dies other than Owen the campaign ends. Max would be 8 kills, likelihood is 5.
They do still collide with one another, that is correct. Survivors colliding with one another does not stop the knockback. At the end of the knockback both survivors suffer collision. (Or more if multiple survivors are passed over.)
It seems to be the standard method of play. I feel it makes it much more enjoyable. I enjoy the challenge, but these specific fights involve a little too much randomness to be able to consistently win consecutively.
Amazing episode, I just don’t understand how anyone could possibly justify buying this game, it’s so ridiculously and leaves such a large amount up to luck, losing just feels awful because it often comes down to bad rolls and not strategy.
This is the short 5 lantern year Black Knight campaign. It took me time to record this completely. So... Season 6 started early, this is just a brief side campaign.
