1. You don't need the masterpiece anymore. 2. This has got to be the best spider transformer they have ever made. The cartoon accuracy is astounding. 3. I CAN'T wait for Tarantulas.
Normally female Transformers figures come out as a woman body type with a vehicle on there back and I don't find myself buying those figures. But her and Airazor are quickly turning into my favorite deluxes from the first 2 waves. I can't wait to get them in hand.
I think mostly because most classic FemBots are designed woman first. I think her design is shit but it was originallt a remould of tarantulas i think? And airazor is also toy first maybe.
@@mudawott Yeah, toy Blackarachnia was a straight Tarantulas repaint. The show model used Tarantulas' model as a basis, but changed the proportions so much Blackarachnia barely resembled her toy. Blackarachnia is one of those characters I always assumed would be impossible to make into a show-accurate figure. I'm shocked this toy even exists.
Watching Jobby's review of Masterpiece Black Arachnea side by side with this one, and the robot mode is shockingly good, especially for a Deluxe Class Price Point. I'm definitely getting an Earthrise Black Arachnea as a Masterpiece stand-in
I was going to say it'd be better not turning the head around so you can't see it from the underside but considering the head is the problem, I'd have to wait and see...
I'm very glad I was able to get this figure in before February. I decorate my credenza at home with different themes, and February is couples from pop culture. I know that this technically isn't BW, but she looks close enough I can pair her with BW Silverbolt
Bot mode: Fantastic Beast mode: a little iffy. I think if it were 10% bigger the transformation wouldn't feel so fiddly. Also if the spider legs were clip one it make the process less aggravating.
Why comment that on this video? You do realize that this character isn't exactly that kid friendly, right? I can get behind you on some of the other ones yet those aren't ment for rough and tumble play. Cyberverse exists for a reason too.
Blackarachnia was made by tweaking Tarantylas' model which was based on an actual toy, Arcee was a cartoon model that didn't account for it to be made into a toy because Hasbro's stance at the time was "no ladybots toys" and all fembots on screen were there because the writers of the show and movie lobbied for them.

Its weird; I know the line is coming out now but recently I bought a blackarachnia figure from the Animated series and I actually thought that was the best rendition of her but that's just me
What happened to the mask that was supposed to be included. Back when tonton and primevsprime did their early reviews she included a mask and now that its out the mask is no where to be seen.
I’m thinking some got a copy directly from the factory and they threw it in there. It’s inconsistent to who has one or not. I’d recommend waiting for someone to actually unbox one to see what’s in the box.
Masterpiece beast mode is better, but this is a good figure considering the cost. I do wish, however, that they would stop making the same few figures over and over: Primal, Ratrap, Cheetor, Megatron, and Black Arachnia seem to be on repeat. Where's Tarantulas? Silverbolt? Inferno? Hell, I'd even take a cheaper Dinobot in this line. MP Dinobot is ridiculously expensive and the transformation is, as Jobby would say, cancer.
i buyed rattrap and ordered blackarachnia now rat trap plastic quality is very low same level of a KO toy on my opinion ,now i was hoping BA whit a better plastic quality but.......i got my figure and im complete disappointed they used same cheap plastic "SHAME ON HASBRO" im not gona spend 1 more cent on this toy line, also the chest peg snap on my figure, complete annoing me ,this happen on my combiner wars devastator
If I get another, cheaper copy, I'm gonna force it all to hell! Breakage be damned! Then maybe I might change my mind about it. But for now, I think this is the worst deluxe of wave 1.
