Dude, I just got Kingdom hearts The story so far and KH3 a few weeks ago to see what all the hype was about. I am absolutely in love with the games. I am so sorry for all of you who grew up having to wait for more to come out and couldn't play and hear the music of these pieces of artistic beauty. Except for Chain of memories. I didn't like that game that much.

Just wanted to let you know that my little brother and I grew up playing these games. Now that he's gone. I'm extremely grateful for this series and the times it brought me and my little brother. Sora, Donald, Goofy. From the bottom of my heart thank you for giving my brother and I something to truly love. "Although my heart may be weak, it’s not alone. Kingdom Hearts as truly changed my life and I am not disappointed that I am a huge fan. Kingdom Hearts 358/2 days was my first KH game I ever played and I fell in love. You’re not alone in thinking this. It’s one of the things that helped me grow into the person I am today and although not perfect I know I have a strength in me that was created through what I learnt from kingdom hearts and it’s messages. I hope you’re having an amazing life and if not, stay strong. You’ll get through the darkness and into the light again because you are stronger than any darkness that could hold you down.

I just realized in the KH1 art Sora is facing almost forward, in the KH2 art he's facing to the side, and in the KH3 art he's facing completely away from the viewer. Cool progression! (and a hint at KH3) Reminds me of the way the sky gradually changes colors if you put the covers of 1.5, 2.5, and 2.8 side by side.

@@zeroexe592 I like to think it symbolizes the phases of his journey we've witnessed up to this point. in KH1's art his journey's only beginning, he can still touch the beach behind him, but he's looking out across the ocean longing for the freedom of exploring it. KH2 is perhaps the most ambiguous, but I think it symbolizes Sora's realization that his journey is going to be much bigger and more important than anything he had anticipated when he was staring out on the beach. He's got ice cream in his mouth, but he isn't actively eating it, his hands are at his side, so I think that implicates a moment of deep thought. The beach is no longer visible here, his journey is officially underway, and he's starting to think that he might have a long way ahead of him. I really like KH3's art because it directly follows this up. He's depicted staring at a partially eaten paopu fruit, reflecting on his past and the friendship's he's made up until that point. Because of this reflection, he decides it doesn't matter how long his journey is, the friends he has along for this journey make it all worthwhile. All theoretical, of course, but I like the idea. It also kind of aligns with the themes of each game if you think about it hard enough.

It was kh1 but yes. Very ending has slow version to show game stats and I melted to it after a hard battle at level 32 on ps2.

this reminds me of when i was in elematery school and i was very small and weak and i would always get picked on and beat up to extreme levels and would always go home with blood stained cloths with cuts and buses. but as soon as i got home i hoped on KH and then i remembered that every things ok as long as i have my boys, Sora, Donald and Goofy at my side and this amazing sound track nothing can get in my way because my friend are my power and my heart is my weapon. thank you KH for helping me through my pain and suffering and thank you COZY for putting this lofi hip hop mix out there.

A timeless game that somehow captures the beauty and love of Disney as well as the mystery and allure of the final fantasy series. A truly masterpiece of a series even with the downfalls of KH3. I grew up with these games and I’m glad that I was able to play them. Being 7 years old playing the first KH and waiting years to play the 2nd really just made a huge impact on me. Now I’m 25 and still somehow I connect so greatly to these characters. Sora, Riku, Kairi, Roxas, and all of the organization for that matter. Thank you KH for being a great series

3:24 starting that with Roxas' quote from the beginning of KH2 and proceeding with this very simple guitar-strum of Dearly Beloved is...beautiful. i personally have the mental image of Roxas waking up after a night of tossing and turning with these memories in his head that don't belong to him. and to try and calm himself down, he starts strumming on an instrument. legs dangling over the side of the bed, tips of his fingers gently plucking the strings as he takes a deep breath, then lets it out. then another deep breath, and lets it out. the deep breathing may be due to the fact that i think i can hear something or someone breathing as they strum the guitar.

Thank you for this. All the KH soundtracks are phenomenal and this is a fresh take. I had goosebumps listening to Sanctuary and it brought back all the nostalgia! I also love the little snippets of dialogue in between the songs.

Its funny that back in middle school I fell in love with songs like "My Sanctuary" and "Simple and Clean" but never played the actual game or even knew what it was about. I'm thankful that they released the games on XBOX with the HD 1.5+2.5 Remix. I played through the first Kingdom Hearts about a year ago and ever since then i've been a fan.

I spend most of my time here pushing through Homework or studying, and it's been such a big help. Even though these assignments or studying is filled with so much anxiety and stress, but with the music in the background, taking a deep breath, everything is possible, and we only have to give it our all.
