The only thing that is unfair about the lingering butthole is when he locks your attack’s and magic at the same time like what the fuck I’m a supposed to!!!
you can do the same with Data Lexaeus, but you have to quickly use a summon (Stitch or Genie) before attacking because Donald and Goofy can easily attack him, thus ending the combo
If it's not a hack, it's a valid strategy that takes advantage of programmed weaknesses, in my book. I used this strategy on the Lingering Will and several of the data battles. If that means I have failed to "git gud" at a video game, I'm not going to lose any sleep over it. I did beat several data battles without this, though, and, the optional bosses (No Heart, Mysterious Figure, Eraqus' Armor, et.) in BBS. So, I'm not completely terrible. :-)
Amen to that. I beat all of the secret bosses and some of the data bosses legit like but the other half of data bosses and LW are just to annoying so im going to use this legit strategy and kick some butt!!!

TY TY TY!!! I am good at this fight, and was able to get him down to last HP bar PLENTY of times, but FUCKING ANTI-FORM would screw me up really bad in this fight, along with his curse either blocking attacks or magic. One thing you should note in this video though however is that you have to attack him really quickly to keep chopping off large chunks of his HP. If you slow down or go to slow, it will only chop off little chunks and take a lot longer and make it easier to mess up. Thanks again!

BTW I don't know if you still do quick lore videos but a topic I was thinking of is something that no one really talks about and that's "why isn't Sora considered a True Hero?". Because if you think about it when Hercules was willing to sacrifice his life for Megara he became a True Hero. So after Sora sacrificed himself to save Kairi and become a heartless that should have made Sora a True Hero, because a True Hero isn't measured by his strength but by his heart. And Sora has a pretty big heart since he is always willing to help his friends or strangers no matter what the cost so Sora should be considered a True Hero. So why is he not? Think about that and maybe do a quick lore video on it. Or maybe a quick lore on the sleeping worlds of DDD because I just played 2.8 and DDD for the first time and don't understand the sleeping worlds. So just throwing out some topics for a quick lore if you still do those and long live Kingdom Hearts
@everyone who is having a problem getting this to work. Put an elixir or ether on donald or goofy as for whatever reason you wont get the knock back on the lingering will that you need unless your mp bar is full.
KH is my favorite series of all time, but that doesn't mean I'm good at it. With every difficult boss, I've looked for the easiest way to beat it and I hope this works because I haven't even bothered with LW lmfao
Honestly, this is a lifesaver. I've played KH2FM since it's release and to this day I still haven't beaten any data fights or this lingering prick even though I'm lvl 90. I'm just plain bad at this game and the saddest thing is that I can't even make up a reason besides "I'm just that bad" with my good setup (in theory) that I have. At least I got through AS-battles fairly.

lol when i was little i remember that i would always beat kingdom hearts 1 and 2 on normal but with only the kingdom key and no equipped items or skills because i didn't know what all that stuff was for or how to equip anything xD
I only fight him on level 1 now days. It's more fun and that strat is not possible less you have a cheat code. Because you need the extra Negative combo by leveling up.

Man, Mysterious figure in bbs must be lactose cause cheesing him is pretty much impossible but its almost GUARANTEED that he'll cheese you though. Laser balls plus anything else is gg if he does it unless your aqua ;(

Can you confirm if it still works in 2023? Because I tried this same strategy but watching another video with their setup and it did not work at all. I'm going to try this guy's setup but I'm not hopeful, if it works I'll post back, but having some confirmation from someone that's tried it today would be nice.
Yess finnaly after 100 hours i finnaly 100% completed kh2. Yess i used this tactic. But i still feel pride. Im far from the best player. But i did all the data battles legit. So i allow this one. Omg after 3 years of trying i finnaly did it

Well I've been having fun with him. When I start the combo, he acts like he's up against a wall so hardly staggers. Just a small nudge, then retaliates the hell out of me. And on the last few goes, he doesn't even give a damn about Fantasia; starts off with the seal attack then refuses to not attack me. Goes from one attack into the next straight away. Asshole Terra

Personnaly I don't like easy/cheap strategy it kills the fun and satisfaction of defeating it for me, you should have notice that this strat doesn't work for LV1 challenge as you don't have Negative Combo aside of the Fenrir.
@@Zonefire15 guard or dodge roll when he approaches. it may or may not help since this can mess up your timing as well, but if he's dashing at you and touches the rock he can miss Sora entirely. it's 100% reliable but it might help. either way, it's best to just learn to timing and react normally

Oh you have no idea, I was trapped in a pattern of big plasma ball and Arrow shot. 3 times in a round he did the arrow thing. At the VERY beginning of the match opening move.
I still can't get the cheese to work. Thousands of tries. He always bounces off a wall or rock face. If he touches anything including the edge of the map he immediately breaks combo and goes invincible. I think my game is patched cuz I'm on the switch.😊

ErikIsEpic you're lucky. He goes completely ethereal. All my attacks just phase through him, not even doing a pinch of damage and he flows right into combo after combo becoming even more invincible.
