Developers: should we make a new dodge quote for Vanitas Nomura: Nope! Developers: alright, got it. Funny thing is, Nomura does almost all the writing in the series, so large chance is, he made this quote lmao
Funny thing is, Nomura does not speak English so he did not make this quote. The dodge line in Japanese is 見きった (mikitta) which means "I saw through it". So this is entirely on the English localization team. Nomura has nothing to do with it. Yes, I am fun at parties.
Xirnatts i dont know He says he follows the voice acting very closely too, even in the english versions It is weird that they’d use nope when the japanese line is three syllables lol
@@jasoncallaghan7066 when that happend I just paused the game and stared so hard at my vanitas pop figure....and was like....puts hands together and points at him..."Boi just got fucking yeeted!" What a way to bring him back by yeeting him....my God this game has to much funny moments.
Vanitas, my favorite side antagonist. He knows how to get under your skin and make you feel weak. He doesn't physicaly hurt you to make you feel defeated. He hurts you emotionally to make yourself defeated. All good villians don't hurt on the outside, they hurt you on the inside.
Léo Sora exactly! I was so glad when I saw that they defaulted it to that too, I think it was also engrained in my head because if you don’t get 3 spells in KH1 I think it puts cure on Triangle first off as well, not sure but I seem to remember it like that
As soon as I saw I was fighting Vanitas as Aqua again I paused and flipped out for about 10 minutes while enjoying the killer revamp of his awesome theme. Then proceeded to get even happier on seeing the familiar attacks in glorious HD. Vanitas has always been my favorite battles from BBS because he battles you like an actual player would, he blocks, he dodges, he fakes you out, he counters etc. it’s awesome!
While I didn't pause the game, I was having a nerd out moment the whole fight. All of my practice in memorizing his patterns and stuff translated into KH3 perfectly and it made the nerd out feeling even worse. :) One of my favorite fights in KH3 even in data battles.
Fighting Vanitas in BBS: Absolute hell. Fighting Vanitas in KH3: Fun. The limits on BBS makes fighting Vanitas difficult and slow. But in KH3, the only limit is magic and Aqua’s abilities, making it fun and cool.
What are you talking about vanitas was easy plus BBS is a very broken game with my first fight with vanitas I already had fission firaga mine square thunder dash i think it was called and raging fire
I was pleasantly surprised to play as Aqua in this game but it does make sense for her to have a round 4 or 5 with Vanitas. Also enjoyed feeling invincible with Aqua's cartwheels lol
@@paumontserrat7 the voice actor for Vanitas in kh3 is good but getting your reputation destroyed by a disney character is something else you shouldn’t wanna talk about
Vanitas after seeing Aqua in a certain state. *looks over at Ansem and inhales* BOOOOOOOOIIIIIIIIIIII Ansem: What?? Vanitas: I am the only one with the red and black scheme got it!? It's been my look for over ten years and you go and do that!? Screw you. Ansem: well aren't we extra angsty.... Vanitas:...pfft, outta all the norts here....I am the only one who truly EMBRACED the darkness. You all have some sort of light ….I am 100% darkness...thanks to the old man up there. Xehanort: Darkness is... Vanitas: save it old man , we all know when it comes to it, something will happen say an old friend shows up, and your resolve will crumble...but me? I'll be back...after all who can truly defeat the darkness? True Organization:....Ventus. Vanitas: AND WHO'S FAULT'S THAT!?? Xehanort: …*whistles*
You know what's nice Really Nice Top shelf of nice FIGHTING VANITAS WITH AN ACTUAL REVENGE VALUE HOT DAMN WAS THIS FIGHT FUN Also where's my oreo vanitas fight
I enjoyed this remix of Enter The Darkness when I first heard it; made beating Vanitas a lot more fun than it really was. Still, this remix will never beat Unbreakable Chains.
Supposedly in the Japanese version, Vanitas says "Mikitta" which means "I saw through that". I think reason why the English team switched it to "Nope!" Is because obviously Vanitas is a edgy and cocky person, so of course he'd mock you while he dodges your attacks.
played as aqua and sucked shit for the first half of the fight but slowly got back in the groove of playing aqua and kicked his shit in during the second half. its lore
"See, you're nobody's master anymore!" "Nope!" "Too Slow!" "Suffer!" "Pathetic." "What's yours is mine." "See ya'!" "Gotcha!" "Become one with darkness!" "Writhe!" "Wanna try that again?" Oh, Vanitas. You edgy emo puzzle piece. If only you knew.
I honestly didn't even notice they changed his dodge quotes cuz I was too emotional at the time lol, I'm glad the comments kept me up on the spicy memes.
After waiting 10 years for the reunion and revival of Xion and Roxas you fight along side them, while an upbeat nearly victorious version of the other promise plays, and in the middle of the battle you find out the song is really a mix of the other promise and vector to the heavens, the themes of Roxas and Xion, in addition the song also samples Dearly beloved representing sora. Maybe it’s just me but that was actually insanely awesome
So I scrolled down the comments and saw the one that said “the guitar made it so much better” and so imagine my surprise when it turned out to be electric guitar and not mariachi
Adding the techno part made many old KH3 OSTs controversial, not everyone thought it was a good idea. But I think we can all agree it made this theme like 1000 times better.
Someone started playing minecraft in the next room over the second I started the video and I though someone had just put the minecraft ost as vanitas's theme and was really confused
