@@itjustworks1858 Well yeah, there's minor differences. The lines of the coat where the zipper would normally be are yellow on Ansem's, he has 3 buttons buttoned instead of 5 of his undershirt & he wears the Heartless emblem. But the boots are completely identical, the undershirt is completely identical in design, the sleaves at the elbows are completely identical, the gloves are completely identical, they both have belts going from the shoulderpads to the chest in a cross pattern...
did the dark orbs int the second DM give you trouble? i remember struggling with them a lot because of their ambiguous shape and not really knowing when they were actually a threat
Hey Will, wanna know something sick? At 6 minutes when he does his orb attack, you can actually guard the very last orb he sends and get a reprisal on his opening, you just have to wait a little bit before using it so that you can through the explosion of the orb that is on you. I made a strat that allows me to always kill him after this attack by doing a bunch of reprisal and combo on him during that attack, it works pretty well.
Intersetingly, Ansem uses several attacks borrowed from Anti Black Coat. Wonder what that means. Ansem didn't feature in Sora's Dream, so it's not like ABC (heh) was based on him.
It’s too bad you didn’t get the part where he send those big blinking balls at you and he’s on the opposite side of the arena. Because I’m not sure how to deal with that, did you have a way of dealing with it?
Soul6 not that one. I’m not talking about the balls he constantly has on his left and right, I’m talking about the ones that he sends AT you that arc into the air and look like bowling balls with a few 2-3 stripes on them. He only does it during the second DM
Cozmo Smit just time dodge rolls, they literally act like bouncing balls, so you have to time them right Yeah, the funny thing is, if you’re fast enough, and get enough hits in after every opening he makes, you can easily skip that phase At level 70, I could beat him within a few seconds when he starts this phase lol
@@WillJV2 Yo I didnt know that, its insane 😱. At least I would like to see you dealing with the exclusive attacks of this DM, but I know that you dont enjoy this battle the most 😅. Thanks for answering, your videos are pure fire 😆
@@WillJV2 He does some attacks from DDD that you didn't allow him to use. I saw some japanese player having trouble in that move. I guess Xion's DM have some few different attacks if you let her finish it.
It’s very easy to skip through the full second dm’s attacks if you know where his openings are during this phase lol Ansem’s DM is more of just a different phase lol
Hi this is old but I'm struggling. When he does the laser Orbs and pulls you in, I can't seem to dodge at all. I've tried practising on the first move just dodging but I can never get the timing right. I don't understand what I'm doing wrong? Is it a really tight window/TV latency thing?
It's just now occuring to me that doing no damage all pro codes on a level one is a little redundant. Like what does it affect? Your mp bar I guess. Not that you're using it
Why did the developers think anyone would try to get close to Ansem during his third rush that they would make it so the attack up close breaks guards when most people would either just block or dodge from where they stand lol Especially when they attack leaves Ansem vulnerable afterwards anyways
3 years late to the party but I just did this fight blind and found this opening myself almost immediately. On the first two charges Ansem is shrouded in dark energy stuff in both parts of the charge (slow part and fast part). On the third part he's not - during the initial slow part there's no darkness. It's a pretty big hint that there's an opening of some kind.
Level 1 sora in critical can be done easily in the story mode abusing links. Most of the bosses are cheesable you're gonna have some trouble with Sköll tho
