@@Twocoolman115 To be honest, discounting gameplay, KH3's story killed most of my personal hype for Xemnas.(While also somehow opening up another can of worms for Ansem that will sadly never be resolved because he's gone too)

@@Pappa958 the song actually combines his ddd theme with his kh2 theme and part of a fight to the death. There was also a part that was similar to the darkness of the unknown part from the triple nort fight and that's all that I picked up on. Btw his dm uses the blue lasers from kh1.

@@filthyshrek101bc2 Actually, I think those blue lasers are just the "tell" that those are unblockable. (I remember seeing blue lasers in the Yozora fight as well, and just like here he always dodges those instead of blocking)

Its a Stun, some other attacks in Data Org have stuns, but unless you're in a Form, that one is unavoidable

I think they handled xehanort poorly in this game too, which didn’t help. But yeah xemnas is the best

He actually does it cause there's an ability where casting Cure boosts your Form meter. Otherwise you have a rather bad time trying to get Form Changes in end game bosses.

While watching people play this boss on stream, I would only keep thinking: "you guys can probably dodge those streams and get some good hits in" That's what I would have instinctively done to avoid being all over the arena like a rag doll. I don't know, i just had a sneaking suspicion that Xemnas could be staggered upon dodging it, which is ultimately what i love about these data bosses: THEY HAVE SPECIFIC POINTS OF STAGGER; THANK GOD!! which makes finding them so rewarding. Osaka team truly stepped up with their boss design with the dlc (at least with the data bosses). I'm still not a fan of the way KH3's gameplay sequences and in-story bosses are paced (or in this case, designed), but I'l give props were props should absolutely be given.

Thats because when he has not mp available he can get forms with less hits, making cure the best spell to use that ability, as cure uses all mp.

No, they all do 0 damage, and are all dodgable, some are just harder than others due to block timing

kyle maltby He’s not impossible.. none of these battles are. I’m not a KH veteran of any sorts and I had a hard time with these bosses, but I spend over an hour or more with most of them learning their attacks and how to block them.. I managed to beat them all after 3 days. Saïx, Xion and Xehanort were imo the hardest.. Xemnas is tough but if you block him correctly it becomes pretty easy

@@IChainZI Thats one thing that was irritating when I fought Xemnas in kh2 on critical for the ps4. Kept taking damage on that part even though I was pressing reaction correctly.

KH tactics in a nutshell. You have bosses who can do things like stop time and they never take advantage of it.

Well KH 2 has some really bad bosses too, but Xemnas has always been amazing imo

It helps when you're in ultimate form. Hell, even light form cause of the barrier. It's tricky to dodge the blue ones , THEN proceed to block the red lasers. This fight is just pure combat and hate...then, Xion!

theres no spamming it either you can literally just slowly alternate x and triangle

Ultimate Form has long/laggy animations. Double form feels much better while still doing good damage
