@@-B4sh- sorry, but this argument is flawed. For starters, they are not doing what Avengers movies do. While all movies in MCU are useful to know, you don't need to have seen any of them to follow the plot of each movie. For example, I didn't see either Antman movie, but they give you enough information in Endgame for that to not matter. By contrast, Kingdom Hearts expects you to have played every single obscure game in the series. You don't make playing a mobile game a requirement to understanding the plot of a console series. Secondly, the writing is God awful. Nomura himself has straight up admitted that he will just create cliffhangers without any greater purpose behind them. That isn't good writing. That's disappointing writing. I cannot communicate how disappointed I was when, at the end of the main quest line of the game, that sniper guy whose name I can't remember appears with that box and those fursuit warriors or whoever they are show up to assure you that the plot is only going to get more confusing from there. Also, Avengers movies have understandable plots. Stuff like: "this guy wants to kill the world" or "this guy wants to start a war." The motivations in Kingdom Hearts are just baffling, and the ridiculous hoops the game jumps through to shoehorn in the villains from previous games are absurd. I love Kingdom Hearts, but it is in spite of their writing, not because of it.
I mean technically he is noctis. The star girl did say that he was changed beyond recognition. Meaning he is still technically noctis but not ffxv noctis ya feel

Kaimine08 ....which is a prequel. Just because kh3 is the end of his saga doesn’t mean they can never make more media to fill in gaps in the story before kh3 happens.
@Tabs At least Kojima is able to make unique games that doesn't need a multi-verse to tie into it. Metal Gear Solid did stretch itself too far due to fans wanting it, but Kojima had many materials to write the game world, given that it's a reflection of the real world. Kingdom hearts is based on fantasy hence requires a full effort to invent everything, and since it is a mash up of Disney and Square Enix creations and concepts, it required them to re-use everything that existed and attempt to mash into existence and form. If Kingdom Hearts is a melting pot. Metal Gear Solid is a mirror.
dra6o0n i get the cult of personality surrounding kojima because his games ARE more often than not incredible in some way. ill never understand it regarding nomura though.

@Takashi Komuro Yeah people blaming Nomura and Tabata don't know how companies works these days... The dudes handling Square-Enix are just dicks plain and simple, it's their fault (and Disney's aswell) that KH3 was rushed and Nomura had to make a DLC that fix the end of the game just like Tabata did for FFXV with the Royale edition.

He could be, but since square characters where kinda not really in kh3 heavy I'm having an issue with thinking anything having to do with TWEWY . This seems purely ffverses13 which Nomura has been working on for a very very long time
@@IszzyXD idk man that 104 building is kinda screaming TWEWY and that Neku bit from DDD where he said they'll meet again might be foreshadowing for Sora to be in a reapers game. @@Crimsonfireball interesting. So if they have the same name why would yozora attack sora instead of figure out what's happening? It doesn't make sense if he's supposed to save sora and then theres just another sora that isn't the sora you're looking for?
@@hellhawk9199 It's a conflict between realities, the breaking of the 4th wall between Kingdom Hearts, and another title called Verum Rex which does not exist yet (to our knowledge). In another way, it's the director's way of changing games... LOL. So many 4th walls broken, reality could not hold, and thus the universe of Kingdom Hearts collapsed on itself, and disappeared, forever. In exchange, we now venture into the universe of Verum Rex, as if we went into a black hole and all reality as we know it was erased, and replaced with a new one.
Yozora talks about how he "went through some trials" when shibuya appears, so he likely had to got through the reaper's game. Also, he likely did not kill Sora in this ending. The process that he goes through here resembles crystal stasis from FFXIII (which Versus XIII was a spinoff of), and given how Yozora talks about saving Sora, it's likely that he turned him into crystal to "store him away".
Well like you said in this ending which is the bad one, the good one throws me off cause I’m like what happens now and where tf is Riku since he is actually shown there in the secret ending
Sora isn’t dead nomura already confirmed he’s protagonist after kh3 i believe sora is just asleep and frozen in god knows what and the only one thats gonna free him is riku so bad ending is actually canon
So the entire time Yozora was basically doing through trials like the TWEWY characters does. And once Sora comes in thats his final trial: *Is it safe to assume Joshua is somewhere in Shibuya??*
Enzo da Silva Zani precisely what happened in that scene! In final fantasy 13 lightning called that crystal stasis her eternal epitaph for her sister Sarah... by going into crystal stasis Sarah’s soul was preserved while lightning went on some crazy adventures to save her sister Sarah soul. I’m not sure what square Enid has in mind with this plot twist but I hope it doesn’t ruin anything because I’m a huge fan of KH AND FF
@@xavierninetwofourfiveone6901 Yeah they did that with the Star Wars series actually, apparently I heard of stuff like this with youtube videos talking about Star Wars Legends comic book series where they change things canonically just to make money.
Inb4 Yozora is actually using an avatar called "Yozora" and he acts out in a virtual reality through dreams, which is why he said that "this isn't real him" and a reason why he is able to peak into the Final World, which lies at the edge of sleep and death. Yozora could know Sora from the Master, while Sora knows Yozora, because in Sora's reality, Yozora is depicted as a video game character. To each and both of them, their worlds collided and that's why they don't know if both worlds are real. Extention. The Master may be from Yozora world, and the world of KH may be just a fantasy book written and materalized in the general reality. Edit: Slight edit. I think I've got this. The game of Verum Rex seems to be more than just a virtual reality game, more like a game that alters the reality. That's why Yozora would use the discernment. The Final World is real, but the access granted to it by Verum Rex, to the avatar of Yozora, makes it so that they need to separate what was normal for the people of Yozora's reality before Verum Rex, or whatever made it possible for Yozora and the others to travel to other realities and what is now. They need to be sure what part of their world is theirs, and what part is not, so that they realities won't completely blend. Why do I think that this is a game that alters the reality? Already mentioned that about Yozora. Sora recognized Yozora, because of his apperance, but to Yozora this appearance is of his game character, not the real him. That's why there's a gap in understanding. In Yozora's reality, his game avatar must have a different name, and Yozora is his real name. In Sora's reality, Yozora's real name is tied to his game apperance(not that his real apperance is all that different, if the good & bad ending are not a part of the game). The thing that made me think about it, is how Yozora mentioned how Sora is using "Sora's" name. Maybe, there's a real person in Yozora's world that has a name of Sora, and Yozora is friends with this person. This Sora would look differently, because Yozora did not recognize our Sora by apperance, but immediately questioned why our Sora is using the name of the Sora he knows. It's like the Sora that Yozora knows was originally his game pal in Verum Rex, and Yozora is confused why our Sora uses his friends' name for the in-game avatar(i.e Yozora dived into Verum Rex and met our Sora in the Final World, and thought that our Sora is a game avatar of someone using the name of the Sora that Yozora knows). It's getting scary, if we'd really think if Kingdom Hearts, rather than being a picture book, is just a part of the Verum Rex, which is a game. That'd be meta, because if KH was a game, then everyone that we know, may be just game avatars of the real people somewhere in Yozora's world. It'd also explain why the Master was able to follow and foretell the events, it's like he's one of the developers that knows the scenario of Verum Rex(which includes Kingdom Hearts) that wants to use this game to make it a part of his own reality. The Master did create a data world for the Dandelions, so it'd not be strange for him to be a programmer and a scholar. Then, there's a point of Yozora "saving" Sora. Sora use of the Power of Waking may've been considered a cheating in Verum Rex, and that's why he was about to get punished and banned from Verum Rex, but the Master told Yozora to "save" Sora by defeating him & crystalizing him in order to preserve his data. It's wild.
@@Dr.Meme-Man why do I have a feeling the Master is gonna take his hood off and we are gonna see the maker of the Kingdom Hearts series... Also,Yozora reminding anyone else of a sane deadpool?
Reminder: Noctis Named reverencing to Sora's name "Do you know the name Sora mean the 'sky', in Japanese and Noctis, his family name is Caelum which mean sky as well so basically, Noctis mean 'night sky', so they are kind of complete opposites to each other. There is a reason why I named these characters as opposites" -Tetsuya Nomura- Sora is Translated "Sky" Noctis name translated "Night Sky" Yozora is Translated "Night Sky" Verum Rex Means "True King" Nomura never fails to blow my mind...
I have a theory as to why Yozora thinks that he is saving Sora by freezing him. He likely knows that the Master of Masters is after Sora, so he needs to get Sora to safety ASAP.
Yeah... but why frieze him??? He's f@ck!ng SORA!!! He would makes friends with the enemy (ahem Neku from DDD!!!)!!! I wonder why Riku ever left him unsupervised given he knows him so well and so often says "Well what to do??? He is Sora after all!!!"...
All I meant is why Yozora didn't explain something to Sora... Why anybody explain it to Sora!!! I mean, ok we know Sora, he would probably do something stupid but look at him!!! He is all grown up and he has started to think and... Oh damnit, we know he's so precious and must be protected... but still it would be nice now and then to hear something like: "Hey Sora, you know what??? We must go save some people and we have a plan... This is it, think you can follow it??? It's important...!!!"...
I think he either he thought it would be easier to force him to come along then tell him the story. He's probably done things like this before and I doubt anyone else has nicely sat down and listened and then joined him. Sora is just too nice.
There is two endings though... one where you actually win and sora doesn't get frozen. A theory i saw from someone that I like is that this wasn't just one fight, but a constant battle between the two, with sometimes sora winning and sometimes yazora winning
Because it’s Nomura’s style. A lot of characters in FFXV are designed by Nomura. Nomura couldn’t make a real game for FF versus 13 so I think he made in other way.
@@truchoang447 nah dude that scene was literally in a versus 13 trailer. It's more accurate in the good ending but you could probably watch them side by side and see that they're near identical
I think it's Nomura telling square to go fuck themselves and made this secret ending to force them to give him Versus 13(or now Verum Rex) as a game lol.

Of course! Chirity said it himself! In the Final World, "The Edges of Sleep and Death touch and one can't help the occasional crossover". It's explained that Sora's Worldline is rebuilt using the Book of Prophecy as a bases. It's likely that the Verus 13 exp world line is a side effect of that. Likely a reflection of what could have been or a reflection of what should be. In otherwords it's just a possibility that is as real as Sora's.
Remember when this game was just a simple, go to this world defeat the darkness, find your friends, save the world story....now its plot after sub plot mixed with 10 different sub plots. Shit gets more confusing then Westworld.
KendoGurl it still would’ve been convoluted because the thing about Nomura’s writing style is that he makes it up as he goes. he never outlines stuff, like sure he’ll have the vision in his mind & he knows how he wants the story to end for a game but when he gets to the middle chunk of the narrative he starts to fucking lose it and he can’t seem to find a coherent way to transition from the beginning to the end of a story. his problem ultimately is that he’s trying to do way too much & since he has no true middle outline (which is the most important part of a story) it’s hard to understand because he’s so focused on answering maybe 2 questions that people want answered to then bring up more crucial questions which are more noticeable towards the back end of a game to build hype & to keep people talking. There’s nothing wrong with a mystery but it should be done right instead of just going overboard and shoving so many ideas into one secret ending which then leaves people frustrated and tired & eventually just lose patience and will stop caring about the game which plummets sales. I do think Nomura is capable of making a understanding story. In order for him to do that he needs to chill out & outline everything. have people who know a little more then he does when it comes to storytelling to help him out. And do not try fitting all your eggs into one basket pace it out and take your time with each game. That’s my solution for him but I think nomura likes convulsed plots so it would’ve been a mindfuck regardless of him taking a FF break or not.

If Nomura doesn't make too many mistakes like he did before, he can focus on putting Sora on the path of finding the Dandelions, learning the truth about the conflict between light, darkness, the keyblade war and thus stopping the Master of Master's. Hopefully Sora will take things seriously again after this and Nomura can stop portraying Sora as weak and pathetic because it just doesn't make sense anymore..
