Same here. Also the marketing ploy was gross. But damn, honestly one of the most powerful stories. What happens to Sora is truly f'd up and Riku's redemption story meant so much to me as a kid and now. This is actually the first KH game I got to play from start to finish
I’m really glad you guys brought up the Newsie lore. Many people in the kingdom hearts fandom don’t want to acknowledge how important Newsies were to the overarching themes of Kingdom Hearts.
Nomura once said in Famitsu "The Newsies ga subete no kagi to naru" which roughly translates to "The Newsies are the key to all of this" - it's shocking how overlooked this is by the fandom at large 😔

I just have to give huge props to all the guys who work on this. The whole thing is shot beautifully, edited seamlessly. The fact they have notes to keep them on track and filmed the whole thing in a 4 hour marathon is incredibly. The lighting is great, the framing of the shots is brilliant - it’s genuinely a better production than I see from people with huge budgets and millions of subs. The love and attention put into the editing, the fact they even match the Kh font for the scenes they dub over - the animation of the backstory of how the games were made. Someone just get these guys a budget and let them run wild im boundlessly impressed by the sheer professional quality of this - especially the throw up moments 10/10
luckily we arent at 13 yet according to my count. we are at 11 tho. probably 12 since the mobile game is so long it needs 2 potentially. which then would become 13 with missing link on the horizon

So much of this video is just absolute gold. The sepia tone over the crime drama style flashes during the reveal that Namine is warping memories absolutely sent me. I loved your KH1 video, this one was even better. I feel like the series gets more convoluted as it goes, this could end up becoming the best breakdown ever made. At the very least the most entertaining. Also I too was a confused and frustrated child when I found out a GBA game was required content lol
The quality of this video is incredible. Y’all aren’t just summarizing the game but making it entertaining. It genuinely pisses me off that this video doesn’t have atleast a couple hundred thousand views. The writing, editing, visuals, voiceovers, well timed comedy but still true to the game is great. Usually ppl will make comedic videos but they fall short on the plot. Maybe this is just the type of comedy I like or something 😂Forsure got a subscription from me and can’t wait for kingdom hearts 2! I mean… which ever kingdom hearts is next in the timeline right
this is the first video I’ve seen from this channel, and it took me about 45 seconds before I was like “yeah, these guys get a sub from me” 😂 but fr, please take care of yourselves and your bodies. As a frequent DD and former bartender I’d feel better if I knew there was plenty of water just off screen. Also, a full stomach and high protein snacks slows how fast alcohol hits the bloodstream. This content was awesome and hillarious, so I’m sorry if I come off like a party parent, but it’s cuz I enjoyed the content so much!
im SO FUCKING HAPPY that starting with the ps4 the series was FINALLY on the same platform. (well then the mobile game happened but lets ignore that for now) because over the course of this series you will see the many platforms that this series released on. i played every game on its original console, tho com only like an hour in a traincar at one point. its so insane how many platforms this series has been on.

This series is very good. Not only is it hilarious but the editing is top notch. Hearing the lore being told back from people who are passionate about the games helps a lot as well. Usually when there are KH lore explanation videos its from someone who is cynical and isn't a fan so their explanation is purposefully bad and confusing. But this is just perfect. Love how long they are, love the people in it. Definitely looking forward to more of these. Keep up the great work.
