Aqua's voice actor is easily the worst among the entire cast. I really don't know how she made the cut (probably because she does do a good job at sounding sad)
@@Joe42351 that’s hardly fair. Terra is much worse at emoting. She’s great except for a few lines. Besides her death scream in 0.2 and kh3 sound great.
Gamelover254 both had some pretty dry lines in bbs I wouldn't say ether of them were horrible but compared other voice actors in bbs (Especially xehanort and Eraqus voice actors) they did seem kinda bad
It's a nice touch that non-heartless enemies can't steal your heart , so when Sora loses in DDD his heart doesn't jump out, the same is true with the unversed in BBS when they knock you out, it only serves to make Heartless scarier than the other enemies in the game because it is implied to be an actual death if you lose against them, whereas with some other enemies and such it seems to be less lethal. I kind of don't have an excuse for Chain of Memories, I guess it could be that even the enemies they're fighting are born from their memories and not real Heartless.
And also kh2 does not have the heart come out of sora. My guess? He (while in human form) is still somewhat of a heartless and need roxas to be whole again. But the heartless attack sora because he is very human (but still could be something of a heartless, just look at ansem.) But this is all just a guess/theory.
I appreciate that somebody is actually analyzing the lore into this rather than complaining of “non numbered titles not having heart animation”, what you wrote was the actual reason and such details are just amazing. In KHII you do actually get a heart animation while in Chain they were simply memories
@@Ventus2077 lmao I find this consensus hilarious. Just played through all the games over the last month and god damn are the games EASY. Amazing games that are fun, however they are not difficult (save for a few exceptions across various moments of various games). KH3 feels almost exactly like the other games, except for the fact that he's more floaty. However that is a dumb complaint overall since it's clear that Sora is very good at using gravity magic, like Aqua, thus the floaty fighting style and running on walls. (He's also fought a LOT of flying enemies so he knows how to handle them now). In fact, I'd say with utmost certainty that KH3's combat visuals as well as intricacies and variation vastly outweigh the other games. There are so many ways to approach combat in KH3 that every fight can be a new experience. I went into KH3 with a mental list of all the complaints you people make and the game has shattered every single one of those complaints for me. You people really are just so jaded by how you felt playing KH as a kid lmao

I died so many times that it took me a day and a half to finally beat this damned mini boss. Ahh. So you're a sheep. KH3 is the best in the series and if you think otherwise, you have either a jaded mindset because you can't feel the same way you did as a kid or you can't think critically. I won't go into it but KH3 vastly improves so much of the series as long as you're willing to see the series with non nostalgia goggles.

even tho i’ve been obsessed with KH for years i just got to play it for the first time when KH3 came out so for me that sound effect REALLY triggers some trauma. especially for the fucking data org
I mean, realistically, all it is is him being knocked back with some particle effects. The freezeframe on death is presumably because bosses die in the same fashion.
