KINGDOM HEARTS for Nintendo Switch Cloud Version Launch

No! Out of the question, NO! I may be a Kingdom Hearts fan, but having the entire franchise be Cloud Versions was easily the biggest mistake that the Kingdom Hearts series offered. I played all three demo versions, and all three of them had some of the worst lagging I had ever seen in a video. Hell, I couldn't even watch the 358/2 Days Story without I lagging like crazy. Not to mention, making these games Cloud Versions kinda defeats the put of playing the entire Kingdom Hearts franchise on the go, mainly because you can only play them if your home has a good Wi-Fi connection, or play them if you're in an area with Wi-Fi connection. Please, I implore you, get rid of the Cloud Versions and give us the actual Kingdom Hearts games.

Reminder that the PS4 version of every Kingdom Hearts collection goes on sale for dirt cheap very often and is more worth it.

I don’t need to see the dislike bar to know it’s massive, I would like to take the time to say I’m so proud of the KH community for standing together and calling this the fuck out!! Maybe they will listen? Who knows

I'm really starting to appreciate the fact that I got these games on Xbox. Despite the absurd pricing on that console, at least I get to keep the games and get to have an extremely smooth experience with them. At least I don't have to have a strong internet connection to play them. And the best way to play Kingdom Hearts is on PS4/PS5 with the all in one package that's actually priced well.

I hope you guys listen to the community. Cloud versions are NOT it. Really disappointed about this.

I love this franchise to death I truly do… however cloud gaming should not be the route for this kind of franchise period so definitely consider making native ports for the switch in the near future

I really hope this turns around and turns into native ports eventually, 'cause I love these games and I would love to be able to take them anywhere with my switch and not depend on internet connection the whole time to actually play, portability is the main reason people wanted them on switch. I never thought I'd dislike a KH video. This is one of the rare times you have disappointed us Square Enix. We don't want a cloud version!!!!!

Please add a Full Download option so we wont have to use the cloud. I understand why 0.2 and 3 are on the cloud but the rest of the games have no such excuse. They could run ln Switch just fine.

I was ready to buy this, until I found out what the cloud versions were!

Square Enix need to listen to community feedback. People WANT the KH titles on Switch, just not cloud. Downloadable or physical release please. What happens when the servers inevitably go down ? Why are the prices so high ? What are they going to do about the lag ?

Can’t begin to describe my disappointment when these cloud versions were announced. This just feels lazy for games that deserve so much better. Hopefully sales will reflect that people want a physical version or even regular digital (but preferably physical lol)

Square please make proper native ports I know it is possible you put the effort for Final Fantasy X and X-2 and XII. People will buy this! I have bought Kingdom Hearts on PS2 PS3 PS4 And PC I would love to buy these again especially when they are actually portable and not being tethered to the internet!

When the kingdom of hearts came out I was only six and I can't believe it is still sort of going. I still remember kh1 when it first came out in 2002 at midnight in my country I stayed up for three hours watching it and ahh the memories

The only parts of this that should have been cloud are the entire game cinematic remake movies (Re:Coded, 358/2 Days, χ Back Cover), 02. Birth by Sleep: A Fragmentary Passage, and KH 3. The other titles had already been rereleased for PS3 8 years ago, minus Dream Drop Distance which is just an HD Remaster of a Nintendo 3DS game from 10 years ago and also shouldn't have been an issue for the Switch to run.

Saying this for all that are thinking of buying the games: today the server was packed and I had to wait in order to play. Then I started playing, and the game crashed after a minute. Then it crashed again after five minutes. Then it crashed again when I was still in the game selection screen. It's not a connection issue, it's their server. Hope this will help you in your choice

Sorry guys but making them the cloud versions isn't going to sell. I understand for 3 since it's graphically intense but for the others? No. The switch can handle 1, 2, BBS, Re chain of memories and DDD.

I Deeply wish to get into Kingdom Hearts after Sora’s smash bros reveal (aside from its confusing but charming story). But the cloud version is just… no…. This ruined my perfect chance to finally play the Kingdom Hearts series on switch. If there is a chance they would release the games without cloud version I would be happy

Glad Switch players who haven't experienced the franchise have a chance to play, but it's pretty sad the cloud versions don't run well. Players deserved better, but I guess due to circumstances rn it was difficult to ship physical versions worldwide. Have fun playing!

This hurts how much I really want this but I can’t spend $100, not even $50 on one collection alone, on a version that has to rely on exclusively internet service. I’d say if getting it on physical/digital is difficult, then PLEASE take more time. If it takes another year or another 3 years, so be it. This version is a pass for me sadly for the time being until I see a native release.

Kingdom hearts being on cloud to me defeated the purpose of having it on a switch. Idk i feel like playing games on the go is the reason why switch is as small as it is and if you can’t do that with kingdom hearts you’re better off playing on Xbox/PlayStation

I understand that the Switch can't handle KHIII natively, but why the other KH games? The Switch hardware should handle them just fine because they are PS2 and PS3 ports.

Was hoping to get this collection to play on the go because I absolutely love the franchise. But you can't do that with this. I already have the collection on PC, so screw the Switch (Cloud) version.

Really really want this on my switch but… cloud streaming means it’s basically just limited too the house… even then streaming is hard on the internet and worse when it’s wifi (more so for the switch.) That’s not even including data limits if you have them so…. Super blah unfortunately. Love the games way to much but this isn’t happening for now :/

do not give us a reason you cannot make this game happen to Nintendo Switch due to hardware issues, there is many open world game that happen in Nintendo Switch even some game decrease their graphic and fps,but at least they still can make it happen. I need game that can be played anywhere without worrying network issues. At least you can make some old KH games like NDS, 3DS or even PSP & PS2 KH version to Nintendo Switch KH Trilogy. i bet KH fans will love it too even there is no KH3.

Been a fan since KH 1 released in America ( Continent not USA) and i own the all in one collection and original casettes for GBA ,DS, 1.5. 2.5 and 0.8 special editions ETC ETC.. and the fact is CLOUD version is not available for MEXICO... whis is really sad... since its my nationanlity and where i reside... and im pretty sure a lot of the fan base is also LATINOS just as myself...

Makes native ports for all the games, no excuses not to. (Even kh3)
