So far, I've managed to finish KH1, KH2, KH3 and now this mod at level 1 and they were each their own journey, I love how this mod gives you a damage boost if you play well!
Wait- Leviathan is in this mod? That's my all time favorite keyblade and I tried learning KH3 modding just to import it, but I couldn't find a model with textures I can work with. This has to be the best mod just because of that
It would be cool indeed to fight Sora (the player) as a boss, but it wouldn't feel perfect if he couldn't reaction command your attacks. In turn, it's also cool if you can reaction command him. Imagine as the fight goes on, he gets better at using the The End RC, and starts learning to dodge your attacks. Though, I'd rather a Xion vs Sora fight since Xion sucks at magic, and it would make getting your keyblade stolen a much more dangerous scenario.
This mod is easily the absolute best mod ever made I will always love kh and combining it with another one of my favorite series in DMC AND we play as roxas let's just say this mod is perfect
bro I was instantly hooked when he did the "reversal element" the fact they made that an actual move PROVEs they really worked on the combat system, when my PC is finally built im definitely getting this game first. lol
An interesting excuse to add Days content into a KH mod, so much for needing to use default animations and such though I don't doubt the sheer amount of effort and debugging needed to get all the new stuff to work.
I believe the Story of the Mod IS that Sora, Goofy, and donald die in the pod and roxas escaped the Simulations to destroy the organization and possibly find xion while being chased by riku
I feel like this is one of those cases of; "Would be so cool to see this, as its own game. Cause trying to use the assets in game looks janky as fu-" Its still super cool
To be fair, Roxas in Days never changes costumes i don't think. He's not told 'No, you need to fit the World'. Instead, it's like, 'Go to this world and fight something, I don't care, just gather Hearts'. So, him being a lion makes no sense. He's not constrained like Sora is because the Organization gives no fucks, just what they can do to further their plans. He doesn't know any better either, just doing his job. TL;DR: It doesn't make sense for Roxas to change his outfit because he's not told to fit in. Instead, he just knows to fight, hang out with friends, eat ice cream, and do his mission in whatever world he's sent to, basically a child soldier. He wouldn't choose to be a lion either. I doubt after what happened with Org. 13, he'd care about keeping the "World Order", I mean, literally forced to fight his two closest friends. He isn't thinking about the other Worlds, but getting revenge, so him not fitting in and jist wearing his coat, even in Pride Lands makes sense. At this time, he doesn't care.
I'm surprised "nobodies" (get it? no? I'll stop.) tried to make mods for the ds games or at least rom hacks for them I'd love to see 358/2 have a mod completely removing or changing the panel system and just adding more missions that'd be awesome.
After following the development of the mod since this alpha release, going back and watching this now it kinda pisses me off how much he's spamming reflect.
