I'm sure it'll come to Steam sooner than later. Just gotta be a little extra patient; from what I heard, Epic does let Steam get their games after a while, so it may be a timed exclusivity deal or something like it.

@@DavidHutchinson0713 as someone else said, it's usually at least a 1 year exclusivity deal, but sometimes it's also permanent exclusivity and since there is no exclusivity period mentioned, I'm unsure if it will ever get a steam release.

But for me, KH would be the first game that I would buy without thinking about it, at least the first collection to replay it, then wait to a sale for the others (I'm not that rich xD). I understand the frustration for multiplayer games, but there is zero multiplayer aspect in this game, so there really is no reason to wait a whole year to get the steam version. @@dayko. I understand, keep in mind though with the new kingdom hearts game being made in unreal engine, there’s a great chance these never come to steam. A lot of developers have gone exclusively to epic games, I don’t really recall square releasing anything on steam as of recent. You look at it from Squares perspective they would have to give Steam 15% of the sale and I’m sure there is some attacks for selling an unreal engine game on steam platform because that’s a competitor from epic games. Selling the game on steam could cost about as much as 30% of each sale, I wouldn’t really count on it coming to steam. If it were a time exclusive I would probably have no problem waiting myself, but I wouldn’t hold my breath with an unreal engine game

With physical releases being phased out developers have to make up that 30% somewhere, The developers are not paying the 15% cost we are they will just raise their prices. Then for April i have Nier for May Resident evil village, biomutant days gone manetater(all preordered on steam already) for june ninja gaiden trilgoy, sniper ghost warriorcontracts 2, necromudna, for rest of year, next sonic game, ghost wired tokyo, psychonauts 2, halo ifninitie , call of duty, stalker 2, asterix and obelix slap them up, and iam sure htere are more action games coming this year that will be day one on steam that havent been anoounced yet so i can wait for kingomn hearts.

What's wrong with Epic over GOG/Steam? Genuinely asking as I don't know why people hate Epic.

Well a few things. First is the purchasing of exclusives which is anti-consumer monopolizing, It's been a while since I'e bothered to check but the epic store is missing alot of basic features you would expect a store to have, for the longest time the epic store didn't even have a shopping cart so if you were making multiple purchases you would have to buy them one at a time, if they even have a shopping cart now I wouldn't know because I have no interest in their store any longer.

I can understand the missing features. Especially something like a career, but to be fair, it is a relatively new store. Steam has had 2 decades opposed to Epics's 2 years. They'll get there. As for exclusives, it's honestly not even as bad as console exclusives or even specific console exclusives. You don't have to go spend hundreds on a console to have access to a game. It's just the fact if downloading a free app. On the user side of things it really doesn't hinder anything.

I feel the exclusives are the biggest reason myself, It is anti-consumer and I have principles, If they make something in house they can sell it where ever they want but paying off a developer to sell exclusive on their inferior store to strong arm fans into signing up doesn't sit right with me. and on the two decades vs 2 years argument, a Console developer wouldn't expect to enter the current market with a console with the specs of a playstation 2 and if they did they would have no excuse for failing.

The PlayStation 2 comparison is a change in technology entirely which is completely unrelated to a store being a basically early access beta. I also have to disagree with you on the exclusives. It's not hurting anyone except other stores, whereas there's plenty of exclusives on say... A PS5 that hurts everyone. Why are people not in flames over that instead of epic?

Same, I'm normally against Piracy but the stars seem to have aligned to form the perfect situation to justify it. It's a set of decades old games being sold at ludicrous amounts each only available on the worst store around while packed to the brim with DRM and to top it of a share of your money will be going to Disney, one of the evilist companies in existence. It's honestly impressive, now if you excuse me I need to wash the poopdeck.
