August 19, 2019 East Burke, VT I've been trying to do a Kingdom Trails mega loop on the singlespeed for a while now. On this day I attempted it after doing the VT3 1 Day race the day before. It didn't go wicked well.
Few years back I did the KT100; got over 57 miles over 7k climbing. Started with 23 riders; 31 degrees at 7:30am 80 degrees by 1pm start. There was some fast MTB mofo's I see regularly at the races Cat1/Pro guys. I was thinking how and I going to keep with this group..ugh. Shortly riders started tapping out after 15-20 miles. We end up with a couple, one other guy, myself and the leader, 2nd sweep fell behind. Fun day even after blowing though a new berm that was just built dirt flew, I flew, but finished the ride with a gr8 sunset food and beer...
