Great ep, Rest in Peace Nikola. Im really liking the relationship yoire building with Batic and Vukmir, it feels like theyre bomding over their shared ambitions, honestly a dream team. Is it bad of me that i hope Batic doesnt manage to have a son 😅. Im actually looking forward to a female ruler, and honestly would Batic accept a possible bastard inheriting his legacy? I dont think he necessarily begrudges his wife her affairs considering his whole deal, but i think hed be cautious of it. Nikola didnt care, i think Batic would. Oh also. Very interesting how much more ruthless youre playing Batic than Nikola! Child murder, making his wife fall for him even if he could bever feel the same way about her, the pursuit of a male heir when hes been training Resa for it her whole life. I like it! Wow, Batić got right down to business! He seems much more pragmatic than his father. It makes me wonder if his version of seduction would be to sit his wife down and say, let’s be a team here, instead faking it. Of course true pragmatism would be looking at the perfectly cromulent daughter he already has and realizing she’d make a good queen, but people didn’t think like that in the 900s.
