First of all, your eye shadow is EVERYTHING! Second of all YES!!! Omg this book absolutely destroyed me, tore me up, then put me back together again, like !!!!! I'm so excited for the next book, Vittoria as the villain is going to be such an interesting thing to see, more so because all we know about her is through Emilia's eyes (who is very biased) so I'm intrigued to see what led her to make the choices she made and how she managed to hide it all from Emilia.
I literally can not with myself, the ending had my jaw on the ground and me awake at 5am because I could not read the book fast enough!!! Now we must wait till fall for the next one 😫😫😫😫
To me Wrath's "idgaf about you" lines vs his actual actions totally fits with his "acta non verba" tattoo/motto! Great review! I loved this book also and am SO glad its NA now.
I finished this book in two days and the twist with his name at the end surprised me but then I thought about it, there were so many hints about his true identity and I was mad I didn't pick up on it. I finished this book at 2:17 in the morning didn't fall asleep/ go to bed until 5 in the morning because I was still wrapping my head around all that happened in the book and trying to make sense of little plot there was.(which is not bad I enjoyed the character development especially Emilia training because we know she isn't super powerful against the princes but she learns how to use the magic of the underworld against them)
I've just recently read book 2 a couple months back and tbh, had a lot of mix feelings. But watching your review has opened up some perspectives I didn't think to consider first time reading it so I'm definitely picking it up again for round 2
