Thanks for playing Paul! The portal storm scenario has event cards and a more random set up than the other 10, offering more replayability 🙂

Really enjoyed the playthrough. Love the complexity even on the early levels! I have now pre-ordered :) I skipped the KS as i, like you, just looked at the design and that it was a tower defence game and wasn't interested. Knowing what is on the portal cards will help through, and i can see that making the game easier each time you play

Great video! One of the few playthroughs that does not have gameplay errors, congrats! :D Except that little thing with doing both basic attack & special ability.

Thanks. But... I think that is a rule I got wrong! You cannot use your hero ability AND your basic attack :) Sorry.

@@GamingRulesVideos Ya, that's what I was trying to say. :) This game is a bit difficult to follow rules-wise sometimes. Especially when there's multiple kinds of monsters on the trays.

Techincally at 1:04:00 that tile clostest to the spawn will move one, as your hero only blocks 1 movement than is taken off, as that tile has 2 move points.

A Hero blocks both movements and takes 2 damage. Is that the right timestamp you meant?

Hi Paul! First of all, thank you very much for your very interesting videos! At 1:20:00, are you sure you can make a basic attack AND use a special ability with your hero on the same turn? I thought it was : making a basic attack OR using a special ability OR recovering... Page 12 : "As an action your Hero may either perform a basic attack, use a Special ability, or Recover."

Correct. I got that wrong. I realised this at the end, but thankfully I lost anyway :)
