The problem is that you went hybrid too late. You already had the best abbilities for magic and then downgraded to hybrid with might. That's why it feels like your weaker. I hope you can give the dlc a chance with a full might, or maybe even full finesse build. That way it feels fresh and new, and you don't miss meteor as much XD
Cupidosus I liked this game but even when it released the min maxing was kind of broken. From a pure effectiveness level hybrids are basically just a downgrade. You’re giving up power for versatility. That’s not uncommon in rpgs with similar decisions, but it’s too obvious in this. Part of it is that hybrids HAVE to be 50/50. It just doesn’t feel good and really limits your build options. If you don’t go pure you constantly feel like you’re fighting the mechanics and putting points in places you don’t really want to.
@@KaleRylan Yeah i know what you mean, but to be honest this game is very easy ESPECIALLY if you craft equipment like cowboy does. Although i hear from a lot of people that universalst is OP aswell. I'm gonna be playing this game again without any crafting, to give myself more challenge and just more fun in general :p
Why aren't u using relentless assualt an battle rage or battle frenzy relentless assault your unhindered for 15-30 seconds you loose armor for the first few levels but when u get it to tier 4-6 if I'm not mistaken it takes away the negative effect an battle frenzy/rage gives u a damage boost after every enemy u defeat this game is really fun if u give it a chance an the dlc is imo better then the main game might is the way to go keep playing please I watch you koa vids everytime they come out Imo relentless assualt is a must cause no matter the opponent that hits u pretty won't affect u you'll get hit but it will pretty glance right off u an go with the ones after cause they improve each of battle rage an relentless assualt
At about this point in the game I switched to a might/finesse build with crit and crit damage using a greatsword for aoe damage/big hits and dagger for healing or single targets. With a weaker weapon than yours, I hit around 4-5 times higher. It could be worth re-investing into a different build if you want to dish out more damage.
Here's a little trick I use after min/maxing my character; Complete the KLURIKON lorestone set, and/or Dead Kel DLC. Both grants a permanent -10% Equipment Requirement. The key here is Permanent. Then use ANY Accessories that decrases Equip Requirement. Equip the gear/weapon that is now within threshold. Afterwards unequip the accessory. You will noticed that the "above-level" gear/weapon is now red (meaning unequipable), however, you ARE wearing it. This is how I got my Might=14, Finesse=28, Sorcerer=81 to harness the benefits of a full Dreadscale armour. With the AoE of Meteor and Tempest , my High agility, high crit combat mage, is a walking nuke.
Thanks for episode! And sorry devs did this game dirty by calling it a "remaster" and yet nothing was fixed or really updated... MAY BALDUR'S GATE 3 SATISFY ALL YOUR NEEDS!
There is a unique great sword in one of the areas before rathir, you have to be LVL 25 or 30 before you can pull it out of a stone pillar it's stuck in but it does a shit ton of frost a physical damage and on top of that it has a free weapon gem slot to stack even more frost damage or any other element gem, i think it max base damage output is like 300? I don't remember correctly but it's a dope great sword Edit: It's called kellerac's sword it's in the tywili coast to get the full sword you must be LVL 24 and have already 42 Might investment so maybe not.
I guess it's just the fact that the game is so dated and they didn't actually remaster anything. Otherwise I'm pretty sure this game in its proper remastered version would be awesome. And goddamn the annoying this is can't lock on properly lol.
I'm playing this for the first time, so my patience with its old systems is still engaged. I can imagine that for original players you can feel how much you have outgrown it. For me it's a game that let's you follow your own plan rather than being pushed down a path with superficial choices. Its more of a kit for role-playing inside of than modern games are. I have fun with it by planning a characters nature and only following those options rater than trying to do everything in every run, much how I played alts in wow.
There are 6 missions left in the main quest if he chooses to just do those and not do side quests. I guess middle-end if he just does the main quest. The are two DLCs with their own main and side quests that he hasn’t gotten to.
