They really crushed it.( apprently they could never say die or kill or death lol) also for morpheus or whatever his name is the vampire dude he was sucking "plasma" rather then blood. I mean come on even blade was on the show at one point lol
I disagree. He is too OP. He shouldn't be more powerful than the cooler Spider-Man villains (Doc-Ock, Scorpion, etc.). And he shouldn't even be able to touch Venom, Carnage, Spider-Carnage, etc.
@@obvioushieidude7668 Back then Kingpin actually had superhuman strength in the comics. I think it was when they made him a Daredevil villian that he got nerfed but I agree he shouldn't have been more powerful than fucking Scorpion.
Why does Spidey just jump right into Fisk’s chest every single time? You’d think after the first encounter he’d go for something a little smarter, but he just does the same stupid thing every single time.
He is the greatest ever..... owned punisher..... owned red skull.... helll..... even captain American would have died by his hands if not saved by falcon....
Fun fact: In the comics, The Kingpin is one of the only being to ever resist The Purpleman's powers. When Kilgrave tried to control Fisk in his office once, Wilson demonstrated his indomitable will by then proceeding to beat Kilgrave almost to death. The only other I have heard of resisting is Doctor Doom.
I always loved how even with the censorship this show had to work around, they were still able to make it clear he wouldn't hesitate to kill you, turn your death into profit and go to your memorial service to raise his public image. While they couldn't be graphic or vulgar, they still managed to make this man something that one should fear.
It kinda makes sense. Kingpin is strong, maybe enough to lift over a couple tons, but not on Spidey's level. Spidey has the porportionate strength of a Spider, so at least a couple dozen tons.
Kingpin take down his opponent in a sweet manner by hugging and lifting them no punches no kicks nothing just simple hugs 🤣😂😂😂 the guy give lots of love before ending his opponent 😂
Cole Samoth Not the black suit you're thinking of. After Peter originally got rid of the symbiote, he had cloth version of his black suit made by Black Cat, as she thought it was sexier. He hasn't worn it many times since Venom entered the picture. The instance I was referring to happened after Civil War, when Aunt May was shot by the Kingpin's men. Peter donned the black cloth suit to get across how pissed he was, and he proceeded to utterly DESTROY Kingpin in a fight.
MrImastinker Actually this Kingpin is based on the older version of Kingpin. People call him "Classic Kingpin" and he routinely beat Spider-man, Captain America, etc. He was downgraded in more recent comics.
350lbs of muscle is by no means a bad feat. But if Spider-Man has a hard time against a 350lb muscle man, then he should have a hard time against NFL football players, professional wrestlers, and world strong men. Wouldn’t make him much of a super hero
There’s a lot of men on this planet who are 350lbs of muscle, a lot of football players. If Spider-Man, a super hero, gets owned by a 350lb muscle man, then he’s not much of a super hero
Kingpin is too strong for Peter here, as he’s literally muscle. He almost killed him by hugging him showing his freakish strength. Kingpin was dominant in their fights, and almost ended up crushing his body in half.
Why does this video always end up in my recommendations once a year, since 2013? I don't even watch Spiderman related content. Yet, here I am, again, watching regular human KINGPIN bear hug meta humans to death
This is why Daredevil is a even match for Kingpin because none of them have super strength, Spiderman shouldn't even break a sweat taking down Kingpin because he has superhuman abilities. They seriously weakened Spiderman in this cartoon he's not some normal human who can punch or kick he's capable of so much more
this isnt just classic kingpin. its super kingpin. this kingpin is much stronger than classic kingpin which was superhuman. as far as this series go, kingpin is slower than spidy, but a hell of a better fighter.
Honestly the Spiderman Vs Kingpin scenes don't make much sense. Spiderman can easily lift cars and has a maximum limit of 20-30 *TONS* while Kingpin can lift around 650 *Pounds* Source: Marvel.wikia
In this series, Spiderman's strength is at his weakest next to his comic appearances in the Bronze Age. He confirms in the Alien Costume part 1 that he had issues lifting a volkswagon. So he isn't as OP in this series.
Spiderman can lift cars without the symbiote. But in no ways he can lift 20-30 tons without symbiote. I have an old marvel Pc game and the manual officially estimates his powers around 10 tons.
azuredragon97 u are reading about spidermans more current set of abilities (his body went through more mutation the same way beast originally had no fur but mutated a second time progressing his mutation even further). Spidermans strength in the 90s was 10 tons. Also he pulls his punches against non super powered humans as he doesn't want 2 kill them. If he didn't pull his punches he could easily kill fisk in one punch (he actually did in an alternate storyline regarding fisks sniper missing captain america, hitting mary jane and killing her (in the canon storyline he hits aunt may and puts her in critical condition. In the canon storyline (where aunt may was put in critical condition) Spiderman finds fisk and beats the crap out of him effortlessly. In the alternate reality storyline (where mary jane is killed) spiderman finds fisk and really lets loose, he punches straight through his chest killing him. HONESTLY the only thing that doesn't make sense is ur ignorant comment.
This Kingpin is so badass. He is extremely intimidating in the show. He’s composed of mostly muscle. In fact 98 percent of his body is pure muscle. This is why he’s much stronger than Spider-Man.
Good lord, Kingpin is stronger than freaking Rhino whom can lift up cars with relative ease, and Electro is Red Skull's son as well as an Avengers level threat. Still, Kingpin put up more of a fight than a war hero with a super serum and vibranium shield.
Idk what it is about this show but the animation is really frenetically paced, it's otherwise good but it's like there's never a second to breathe or they're using the bare minimum number of frames for every shot before cutting to the next one lol
2% body fat or not, he is still a human. Spider-man is a superhuman with superhuman strength. He can lift a max of 10 tons! Which is the equivalent of a tank! Yet some guy who turned his fat into muscle, and has 2% body fat can beat the web slinger? I know this is a cartoon based off a comic book (fiction), but come on!
That's a good question, I think he must mean the muscle itself, in the comics he's supposed to be something like 400 + pounds and over 6 and a half feet tall
So the Red Skulls Son triggers the box to electrify the Kingpin, but then takes the now electrified box out of the Kingpin's hands, but the Kingpin is still being electrocuted...
My childhood was a big whole lie because as a kid I really thought that Spider-Man couldn't beat Kingpin to save his life until I started researching and reading some comics explaining that Spider-Man holds back his strength on purpose just so he doesn't potentially kill his enemies in the process. Now looking back at this show as an adult i can clearly see that this whole show was Cap....lol
I love this Spiderman cartoon ! It's so much better than marvel and other cartoon shows since, mainly because of the reduction in stills used for so many of the current comic book cartoon shows. I'm so glad I grew up watching animated shows like this one before it got lazy.
jesus, they underpowered spiderman in this series. I never noticed. that was pretty damn funny. "time for me to reel u in!" * gets punched away 50 ft. yeah. good job. XDDD
At 1:37 spidey says “The reports of my demise have been greatly exaggerated” which is a reference to Mark Twain and his “death” that hadnt quite happened at the time
To be fair. In the old comics, Wilson Fisk was a legitimate superhuman. The guy bends steel in his hands, shatter brick walls with his punch and once nearly strangled Captain America. i.imgur.com/K7geb7w.jpg i.imgur.com/97arFfn.jpg static.comicvine.com/uploads/original/1/15047/1721438-kpvc03tg6.jpg
