In this stream we will be unboxing the KLP1 from Kingroon. This is their first CoreXY 3d printer which ships with some decent specs for the price. All metal hotend, fully enclosed, linear rails, and automatic bed leveling. It is also running Klipper firmware with a small screen for Klipperscreen. Come hang out, ask questions, and have a good time.

I ended up donating it when we moved some months back. There is a revised version that I have not tested but sounds like they made some improvements on. Slightly smaller build volume though I believe 220x220. I would at least check that one out and see if the upgrades seem worth it.

Hi Danny @ModBotArmyy, Radek here, the creator of the Ender 3 NG. It is amazing that the project got your attention whether or not you decide to build one. It will definitely go out of beta but in the last few months I've been very busy with personal things so I made barely any progress (moving to a different location, changing job and a year old daughter... You probably know what I'm talking about :) ). I should be able to jump back on the project very soon though. If you are interested and would like to know about the improvements coming or some other details or just potentially wanted some help with the build in the future, feel free to contact me, I'd be happy to help. Hey!! Thanks a ton for reaching out. Someone brought up the NG maybe a monthish ago and at first I was confused thinking they meant the Micro Swiss NG toolhead. When I had some time I looked into the project and think it is incredible how far you have taken it. No worries at all. We did almost the same thing. Wife and I left California for Idaho, and currently have a 9 month old. I definitely dont want to put any pressure on you. It is more that I saw it said beta and felt there must be a reason. I typically try to wait on a project for the creator to say it is V1 before diving in. What is the best place to get ahold of you? Discord?

Great stream as always! But it seems like the printer is on the cheaper side, especially compared to the current competition. The A1 Mini, despite its smaller build plate and lack of an enclosure, appears to be in a higher league. Also, the Adventurer 5m (non-pro) is only $20 more and seems to be on a higher level too. It's a shame it doesn't have the option to send files via wifi using OrcaSlicer and well, both of them have propietary firmware.

Thank you! Yeah I sent them a list of things I would improve on right after this stream and they have been pretty receptive. Really what I think it is missing is pollish. For someone not needing ABS/ASA or high temp it is hard to arue with the Mini. I have not gotten my hands on the Adventurer but from what I have seen it has been mostly positive.

I've been using a Kingroon KP3 and KP3S for about three years now and they've been great printers. Very reliable and can produce some very good prints, especially considering their price. I thought about getting one of these KLP1 printers but it doesn't meet my needs as far as print size is concerned plus I don't like the dark tint on the acrylic panels (can't see the print). And I don't know why they decided putting the touch screen inside the enclosure was a good idea. With the door closed, you can't see the screen or make adjustments without opening the door. And I can't imagine it would like living in an elevated temperature when printing ABS and ASA. Ended up buying a Creality K1 Max instead after talking to someone I know who uses nine of them in a print farm and loves them.

I have played around with the K1 a bit and have the K1 max now. Overall the max has been a really nice printer. I printed a side spool holder and just got a powder coated be for it.

Owning printers the last 14years over 6 different mfgs, Bambu is hands down the best printer I've ever had. 30min from box to first print. Perfect. I will always buy Bambu printers. I don't believe there is another company that has put out a product that works out the box as consistent as Bambu with little to no effort on the consumer. I Love Kingroon PLA tho! Cheap and P1S friendly

Yeah for someone that has no interest in tinkering and is really just looking for as quick from open box to printing its hard to argue with that. I have recommended Bambu printers to many people since the X1C launched.

How on God's green earth can Kingroon justify their price they are asking for this when right now at this very moment you can buy the Qidi Tech X-Smart 3 for $299???

I completely forgot about that printer. I feel like with their bigger machines and the issues at launch it sort of fell into the shadows.
