Good tips I have mine coming today so I've been looking up videos, I like the comment at the end about them being humans too so be nice thats gold so many people forget that kinda stuff now a days, though I disagree about it being heavy modifications to get it to run to 300, just needs an all metal heat break and a new thermistor at the least, I haven't looked myself but if it's like the kp3s hotend then it has a ptfe lined heatbreak and a glass bead thermistor, polish3d on amazon sells these cool screw in thermistors that you can screw into any m3 hole on the heater block and they work great and I'm reasonably sure it's an m6 screw hole in the heatsink so any m6 all metal heatbreak should work fine, though I plan to swap my hotend out for a e3d volcano clone pretty much immediately so I'll need a different parts cooling duct as well, but bare minimum for higher temps is to replace the heatbreak and thermistor (this whole part of the comment is mostly for other commentators I feel like you proibably now this already) anyways good tips and I hope you're having a great day
Thanks a lot for this video. Could you help with Firmware upgrade? i dont get the trick to upgrade marlin on my kp5l and dont get enabled bltouch... is there a way to get a allready prepared fixed firmware for kp5l, same model as you show in this video? i have a V1.3 Motherboard in my two kp5ls... but i dont get the firmware upgradet... have you got a simple way to show???
Yep, that’s a common problem. Try this: On the motherboard, unplug the motor cables for the axis going the wrong way. Use a small screwdriver to push the center two small metal pins that hold the wires in down, carefully pull them out, switch the middle two, and push them back in. Make sure it’s secure, and pull the tab you bent down back up with a fingernail. That should flip the direction of the axis. Kingroon hardware (usually) uses ABBA wiring, but they’re sending either faulty wires or faulty boards. Or both. 😤
