85% of rated power is actually a very good result! Very few panels ever make their theoretical power output. For the price the kings panel is doing very well.
Thanks mate. Got 2 of these panels on separate vehicles. Also have 2 of the the kings Mmpt, so very interesting to see your reviews. Keep up the great work. Stay safe.
The reason i think the warranty is so low, is these are going to be used on a moving vehicle. Youll find that if you mount a house panel on a vehicle youll void the warranty immediately. Some house panels even say that the warranty only applies for stationary house mounting and not movable homes
picked up 2 of these on sale for $99 each to put on my ute. haven't tried them out yet but 145w for $99 is a pretty good deal imo.. i have 2 of the 250w folding panels and they are pretty bad lol.. 2 of them running in parallel barely make 250w so about half their rated power.
Hey mate do you do installs? I'm after putting solar on my van and looking for a place to install everything..I don't think the 4wd supercenter in caning value does it yet
g Good timing was about to purchase one of these , can you recommend something better ? will be connecting to a Renogy DCC50S 12V 50A DC TO DC BATTERY CHARGER WITH MPPT which have a max. solar voltage input of 25 volts thank you Jeff
Coming soon. Still trying to work out how not to let things go the same way they did with the rotary transformer. Have to be a bit careful on this one.
this big size only 160 watts ? and i guess only at noon wehn there are no clouds right ? fuck man ... crappy technology... i mean look ... i m using a heatblower in winter alot because central heating is not doing the best job and this thing has 3 settings .... cold .... THOUSAND watts and then 2 THOUSAND ... and even a good computer sucks more then 160 watts wehn working hard
@@69Atho 17 ? so if it had like 100% it would make 940 watts ? roughly that would be a deal ... i d buy this then for no more then mmmmmhmm 280€ ... would be reasonable then as main energysource with a temporary storage of something like 4-5 car batterys and a 220 volt inverter ... + maybe put a wind wheel up .. small one but in the end its also involves trial and error/learning by doing
