Hello everyone, in this video I have setup my new Adventure Kings 250 watt foldable solar panel in the backyard for the first time and have connected it to my car battery. I have also added a 150w Power meter which measures what goes into the battery from the panel Today was a fairly overcast day with some sunny breaks. I did manage to get a peak of 8.62Amps from the panel once I connected a 600w Inverter which in turn charged my laptop. Overall I managed to pump in 3.2 Amp hours into the battery in the space of a couple hours. #Solar #AdventureKings #Review
The Power meter was really cheap off eBay. It only cost me $22 Australian dollars. Well worth it.
As for the panel, it does work however a few bad points about it. The finish quality is not the best. Out of the box a couple of the corner plastic mouldings fell apart. The bag that it stores in is ripped in one corner and the plastic feet on the legs keep falling off. However it does work. It's ok for $200 I guess.
