Dominator still holds a very special place in my heart because it was my first big coaster with inversions as a kid, and the one that pushed me into becoming a coaster nerd because I was hooked after that. It’s a fantastic ride as well, very underrated. I think it still holds up and rides just as well today as it did before it came to King’s Dominion. I do really enjoy that you’ve been including as many POV’s as possible, it definitely adds to the vlogs.

I am surprised Charlotte hasn’t had lock jaw holding that smile at the beginning of 20 plus videos 😊

This was one of the most exciting episodes I've seen, I loved seeing you guys getting to ride the intimidator, what an action packed evening, it was fun to watch, what fun!!

You can't go to USA for a month and not expect at least 1 day of drama. Glad you managed to get everything sorted.....Fair play to the ops for getting 305 open for the last hour. I'd definitely grey out on that first drop.

We are 3 out of 4 having ridden Volcano. My husband and I got to ride multiple times or kids got to wait in line multiple times (too short). It's last season my oldest got super lucky during the his last opportunity to ride it - finally tall enough. It was down, had been for a few weeks a part was on order. We chatted with the kind staff members daily and watched for action each day. On our third day and last day a little over two hours before closing time IT WAS RUNNING! Our youngest didn't make it to the height requirement before it closed.

OMG.......Shawn, "Enjoy Your Riiiiiide" That was best American Accent!!! This looks like such a great trip and I have followed every park.

Despite an unexpected random stressful intense day with the car and making alternative plans credit to you both making this vlog a success definitely succeeded my expectations loving your vlogs anyways as always despite the stressful setbacks with those stressful situations you did a fantastic job 👍combined the parks actual on ride povs although I must admit I much prefer your on ride pov as your always engaging with us throughout the ride as much as you can do glad things are somewhat resolved so you can enjoy the rest of your usa trip

Grew up in this park. Has changed a lot. Grizzly is the only one that hasn't change it's name. Loved riding it

I like the way Kings Dominion's entrance looks too. Kings Island used to have more trees and different fountains but in 2018 or so they changed up the area to be more open in order to have dancing fountains, lighting, etc. for their closing fireworks show at night.

Kings Dominion and The Racer were prominently featured in the movie Rollercoaster. Which is a great movie I recommend to coaster enthusiasts.

I just rode Intimidator 305 for the first time ever last Saturday (July 1st). It’s amazing and I certainly blacked out each time!😵‍💫

Love you guy's videos! I chuckled seeing my kids come out of the queue to Grizzly...My daughter was pretending to be a frog for most of the day...hence her hopping. I really appreciate your positive comments on these ride, my son always dislikes it when people talk poorly about his favorite rides.

Yore about to get on our favorite!!! It will always be avalanche to us. It is such a unique fun ride on our Cedar Fair regular park rotation (cedar point, kings island, kings dominion). If it is a year we have cedar fair passes we ALWAYS end up at least going to those three due to location near family we visit.

Kings Dominion brings back so many great memories from when I was a school kid visiting w/friends, back then Racer 75 was the Rebel Yell. So happy you guys are enjoying visiting the USA. Good luck and have a great time with the rest of the trip!

Racer 75 used to be call the rebel yell, and the left track had the train go backwards. Created a unique ride experience.

I remember when Anaconda was the new coaster. It was the best at the time. It was my first inversion coaster.

I had a similar experience at Six Flags Great America on Friday. I was sent to Michigan for work and went to SF Great America. Goliath had been closed due to needing the lift motor replaced. It had been down for awhile and I didn’t think I would get on it. I saw it testing and they opened it up at 6:00 that evening. They could have just waited until the next day, but they opened it and I got a couple of rides. Very appreciative to the maintenance team.

Wow intimidator 305 that’s definitely a “grey out” coaster seeing that first drop. Riding that at night must be out of this world. Absolutely incredible ride.

We just went to Kings Dominion for the first time July 2nd & 3rd. We live in Ohio close to Kings Island, but we go to Cedar Point more than anything. We actually liked Kings Dominion more than Kings Island and Carowinds. Twisted Timbers is a mini Steel Vengeance, Loved it and I305. I couldn't believe we walked on pretty much everything both days.Longest wait was 15 minutes. Glad you had a great trip!!!

This was my home park growing up as a kid but I haven't been there in over 18 years. It is almost unrecognizable, I'm just happy to say I've got credits for both Volcano and Hypersonic XLC. I wish Rebel Yell (Racer 75) still ran a backwards train on one of the two tracks. That was a coming of age roller coaster, you knew you were ready for the big kid rides when you rode Rebel Yell backwards. Maybe some day I'll get back there and make some new memories.

This looks like one of the better "big" parks to me. It seems to have kept a lot of character from the way it was originally designed. The 1977 film Rollercoaster was one of the first things I ever saw, and I was fascinated with those singing mushrooms!

I305 is amazing! One of our favorites!

We rode Tumbili for the first time right before closing and no one was in line. We asked if we could go again and we did. Made it a little longer. Fun ride, but keep your head back 😂

I feel so lucky to live on the East Coast. So many great parks within driving distance, most of all 2 of best RMCs in the world and 3 amazing giga coasters.

Fun fact: dominator used to be a ride at six flags Ohio and it was relocated to kings Dominion in 2008 when six flags Ohio(also had a different name i forget) shut down. Now the state of Ohio has cedar point and kings island. Which is great. But we used to have a SeaWorld park And a six flags park, which are gone.

Fun fact: Dominator was called Batman Nightflight, It was built in the biggest Amusement park in the world in Ohio. It was Sixflags #1 coaster in Ohio to compete with Cedarpoint and Kings Island. The coaster that was supposed to take visitors away from Cedar Fair ended up at a Cedarfair park, kinda ironic.

Wow that is amazing that it worked out so good despite the unexpected issues in the day. Way to be flexible with a good attitude and find a great solution to what sounds like a nightmare day. Understandably, this was the first vlog of the trip where it was pretty clear Charlotte was not that excited about riding rollercoasters or being at an amusement park.

In the Racer POV you can see the now defunct Volcano the Blast Coaster in the left upper corner. I really miss that coaster. Definitely one of a kind. 🌋

Sorry to hear about your car troubles, that sucks. I've been there. But it sounds like you all made the most of it. I was wondering what happened with the itinerary. Glad you all were able to get new car and were able to get all of the major rides you wanted to do. Shame you guys didn't get to do Volanco, it was an awesome ride. I hope whatever they replace it with will be just as good. There's been rumors for a while about a B&M of some sort, but we'll see.

Hate when plans don’t go as well planned. I just hope it doesn’t sour your Kings Dominion experience, that was the first park that I traveled out of state for and it’s one of my favorites. I305 is just soo fun, especially if you can get a night ride during Haunt, one of my best experiences on a ride.

god shawn that seems like a nightmare for car to brake down during this trip but its bound to happen thank god that its happened near to the end of it and not the beginning of it but loved everyone of these vlogs so far shawn some great funny moments once again and love when you put the official povs in of the rides feel like were on there with you when you do that but glad to see your both safe and got a new car cant wait to the vlog from it 😂

Just thought about something, wouldn't it be fun to have a roller coaster shuttle from one side of the park to another, where you get off and it reloads and goes the other way? Like see the views of a whole park, but from a roller coaster? Maybe you've seen that already? 🤔

I’m grateful that you were able to do Fury 325 before the stress factor closed the ride. I’m also thrilled because Kinda Ka and El Toro are both open at Six Flags Wait Adventure 😅 I love how you made the best of your day by swapping Kings Dominion with Busch Gardens Williamsburg. I just wanted to tell you that in the past, International Plaza at Kings Island had the same amount of mature shade trees as you saw at Kings Dominion. I have no clue why Kings Island cut down all of the trees on its International Street and the park planted new trees. For me, I agree with you 100 percent. International Street at Kings Dominion is far more superior to that at Kings Island. The fountain program at Kings Dominion and all of its spectacular mature trees blow Kings Island out of the water. I am huge fans of you and Charlotte. I live near Coney Island in Brooklyn New York. If you ever return to the USA (and I’m sure you will) I want to treat you both to a FAST PASS at whichever park in the USA that you desire. I love you both. ❤🎢🎡🇺🇸 🇬🇧 ❤️

Don't know if anyone mentioned it before but you guys came up in the theme park news here in Belgium. Someone thought in your worlds of fun vlog that there was plopsa music playing in the background (altough unconfirmed at the moment)
