The beast is one of the best wooden coasters out there. The double helix is something else. Folks who are fragile and don’t enjoy a good bumping around by their coaster should definitely look elsewhere. Ghost rider is the only other wooden coaster I’ve found that can come close.

Put it in perspective. Imagine The Beast is the best coaster in the world, the only one like it. Nothing longer, nothing taller. That's 1980. People floaded Kings Island from all over the world, especially Asia. 4 hour lines past the Eiffel Tower. Yeah, it was something. You can't compare it to a more modern coaster.

@@deralcarson5417 true my old man 👴🏻 talked about the beast for 25 years and him and I finally made it to KI last year and rode it together a memory I’ll never forget
