Everything I have heard is that the coaster is most likely going into action zone and may not even open till 2027 but it's really a wait and see what happens
@@bigblueamusementproductions I have friends inside and outside of the park who know people inside of the upper management at Kings Island and you do see people other than seasonal employees when on break so definitely not confirmed but it seems likely also I think if they were planning a 2026 coaster in the vortex plot they probably would have found a new place for the drones by now because 2 to 3 years is a normal start time for a coaster
@@Outpost5Explorations Not necessarily. While a new coaster may take a couple years to plan, the earliest we likely would see a 2026 coaster break ground would be next spring. Orion broke ground in April 2019 same with Mystic Timbers. For the drones, if they were to move them for construction that would likely be a next season thing.

@@coastinwithcoasters so if the coaster goes into outpost 5 and into the plot behind banshee it's only makes sense to be RMC if it's for 2027 because the construction takes 2 years so prep work 2024 2025 vertical in summer 2026
they are spending $$. looks like on the mason website the lazy river work cost a couple mil. nxt summer they have the coster at over 5 mil (including the pump house) add the kids area and probably spending 8 Mil on soak city. also spending $$ on the blank spot in action zone for a freestyle drink station/icee .But i just think with the merger it might be 2 more seasons before we get a coaster. I do agree that action zone is next area to get worked on.
@@Outpost5Explorations Those who actually know the plan don't say anything as they have to sign an NDA and would lose their job if they are caught leaking anything. Those who speak are just speculating as they don't know.
