I'm old, but really excited this year. I've been a Buckeye fan for over 40 years and I think this might be the best combined coaching staff/team talent we've ever assembled. I was dating a player on the team when Woody Hayes was fired and had a Sorority sister was the daughter of the Athletic Director (Hugh Hindman) that had to fire Woody. I was on OSU homecoming court in 1980: Earl Bruce's first year - was at the Big House when we beat Michigan and at the Rose Bowl when we lost to USC when we were ranked #1 in the country and the USC RBs were Charles White and Marcus Allen (both Heisman winners). We lost 13-14. There is more, but basically I've been around for a long time. We have unbelievable talent this year, but I think we focus more on the players than the coaching staff. If we had our choice of every coordinator or position coach in the county, how may would you change? I think Knowles, Chip, Larry Johnson, Brian Hartline and Tim Walton are probably the best in the country. The upside of Laurinatis and Locklyn looks great. Guerrieri is an unknown for me. Frye and Bailey needs to prove it,... But, on the whole, is there a better coaching staff anywhere? What would you change? Is a short timer coaching star better than a really solid coach that stays around?

I'm definitely take Justin Fields. Because one offensive linemen does not make a good offensive line, but Fields can get you out of a lot of bad plays. He's been doing it his entire professional career.. But can you imagine Justin Fields on this year's team... I'm taking that all day long day long

Again, Doug does not understand the OSU fan base or the concept of a rivalry at all. We want Michigan to lose every game, forever. Stop with the “we need to beat a good Michigan team”. Please. Save it for KOTN if you can’t help yourself. Truly difficult to listen to him speak on this, I can’t believe he hasn’t gotten the message after all this time. I would love to see an independent OSU. The new matchups would be a ton of fun and we would be a trailblazer

I agree with the decision but beating that 2019 LSU team would’ve been crazy because that’s the best offense maybe anybody has ever seen. Dominating all season like Ohio State did and then beating them in the championship would’ve been an all timer too

I’m a big guy but give me a game in the heat in the shoe any day. Living in Ohio my whole life I absolutely despise the cold weather. I don’t mind sweating. I’d rather be miserable in the heat and drink water than be uncomfortably cold and not be able to feel my fingers and toes
