I like the Kingsford pellets. They have good flavor and don't make nearly as much ash as Pit Boss or Weber pellets.

I used them in my Pitts & Spitts 850 & found them to generate far too much ash. I prefer Lunberjack competition blend & B&B pellets. Recently purchased Jealous Devil but haven’t used them yet.

I like several different brands. But my top two are BBQ'rs Delight and Cookin' Pellets.

My son in law bought a pellet smoker and I know what you mean when you say a plastic taste. I would describe the wings I ate as "candy, fake smoke" flavored. I'm a stick smoker guy, so I wasn't impressed. I'll pass your favorites on to him though. Thanks

@@keithhenry2063 I been a stick burner guy my whole life. I made a few briskets on my pellets smoker with wood chips in a tube that would put every single brisket I made on my stick burner to Shame.

@@odeed yeah BBQers delight are the best IMO, i have Pitboss smokers. they BBQers have a strong smoke flavor which is what i like. bear mountain was ok. Lumberjack was good but they seem different less smoke flavor. pitboss is ok
