Why isn't there a classic southern gospel station on Sirius? Kingsmen, Cathedrals, Perry Sisters, Freemans, The Greenes, Heaven Bound. I could keep going, I was 12 in 1986 and those groups and others I listened to daily, great gospel music

I am a friend of Gary Shepard. I had Perfect Heart for a concert, I took Gar to play golf, then I took him to MY home to take a shower. Then the guys' bus broke down and I helped Mike, I took him to get the part to fix the brakes.
This album and this song is probably my favorite of all times. I saw Jim and the Kingmen do this several occasions, so great. And the Kingsmen had some great albums and some great songs along the way.
I will stand up. I love Jesus. Thank you Jesus for delivering me from drugs, alcohol, cigarettes. Thank you Jesus for changing my life for the good. Jesus you are my king. Jesus you are my everything. I've got something to praise God for. Jesus loves you. If you haven't been saved. Just humble yourself and ask Jesus to forgive you. Jesus will forgive you and Jesus will change your life for the good. Praise God.

I know these guys recorded several LIVE albums. Marlene and I (Stu Ferris) heard them in Dayton, Ohio in 1990. The Holy Spirit was with us in a mighty way. Wish more quartets would record LIVE (I guess they're called PROJECTS) concerts.
thetimedshow A good friend of mine co-wrote the original country version with the great Sonny Throckmarton. His name is the great Bruce Channel. And I'm glad that ole Jim Hamel and the mighty Kingsmen rearranged it for Jesus. He Is the greatest of all.
Weird, it played fine today, and everything except this worked the day I wrote that comment. Thanks for posting, I have the box for this cassette, but the tape is missing, and I don't have a way to play tapes anymore anyway.
