This video is probably my favourite they've brought out so far. Bible cheating for the spelling Ta being confident at the start and slowly losing it and being so confused Perth thinking he got every answer right but hardly got any 😂😂

The reason it was so hard was because they were not translating it to the Thai world and spelling it but instead they had to spell the English word in Thai. Which is hard because the rules are all over the place because it’s not actually a Thai word. I’m sure even the 100% Thai cast would of got them wrong 😅

I'm learning Thai and I think Thai spelling is very difficult for me. In Thai spelling, there are many consonants being similar and hard to be recogized to me. For example: ข ฃ ค ฆ ฅ are all started with /k/ sounds. ถ ฐ ท ธ ฑ ฒ are all started with /t/ sounds. As a foreigner who learn Thai like me, I have to memorize which "k" or which "t" is a word being required. Such as the word "ทำ(tam)" which means "do" in English. Even though there are lots of Thai alphabets start with a /t/ sound. "ถำ" "ฐำ" "ธำ" "ฑำ" "ฒำ" are all pronunced "tam", but I must use "ท" to that word. More complicating thing is that, some Thai words that originally comes from English, but it seems there is not any rule in spelling. For example, in the vedio they mentioned an English word "like", in Thai, it is "ไลก์" "ไ" is /ai/ sound "ล" is /l/ sound But..."ก" is /g/ sound....... That's why in this vedio, three of them using the "ค(k)" sounds but were confused when they knew the correct answer to that words is a "ก" sound, which is a "g" sounds in English.

I finally realised that after 5 years of Thai BL I have only learned the spelling of the word "like" 😅 Thank you Lydia for giving me an happy break moment during my afternoon's studies. Ti voglio bene 🥰

It is difficult for Thai people too. Some Thai word is wrong in spelling but use in general. Bible is great.👍😁
