KinnPorsche Reaction E6 Thai BL | Love and Survival! 

Let me recommend u a series for after watching Kinnporsche: the eighth sense. It’s a korean bl drama that deals with mature themes and has a great production! It doesn’t rlly have that “comedic” sense to it like in Kinnporsche, but there are lots of wholesome moments and it shows a realistic side of discovering ur sexuality. It’s 10/10 recommendation for me❤️

Also, earlier when they get to the water, porsche pours water down kinn's back before he even takes a drink for himself, it's the little things that shows you how much porsche cares p.s. don't forget to watch ep 6.5 before watching ep 7!!

hey guys!! Before you watch ep7 you should watch ep 6.5 it's a very short ep of them in the hospital after this ep‼️❤️

And this is why so many of us love KinnPorsche. You said it. Somehow it drags you in, even after you have just been pissed off at a character. And that use of micro-expressions, and a lot of subtle things and hints, is something I personally love about this series. The way they also have two scenes or things done to kinda mirror/parallel each other. I have watched this series quite some times, seen many react to it too, and think I have finally noticed all the things, and then someone points out something I missed. One of these things that you missed, was when you asked 'what if Kinn had lost the Rock Paper Scissors game in the canyon?' Every time they did this game, Kinn always chose Rock, every single time. Something Porsche seemed to have realized by then. Kinn basically let Porsche decide the outcome of each round, so Porsche made it a tie, and then chose himself. If Kinn wasn't already 100% sure what he felt for Porsche, he sure as sh*t knew right then and there ❤ That's the crucial moment where Kinn decides that as much as he wants a bit more time with Porsche, he will let him go, because he wants Porsche happy and free. So he releases Porsche from the handcuffs (metaphorically himself), whilst he doesn't remove the cuffs from his own wrist until they're out of the canyon, and he's about to say goodbye. His last remains of the tie to Porsche and the days of being happy in the woods. That goodbye scene: how to say I love you, without saying I love you. I could write essays about the symbolism and unsaid things, in some of the scenes in this series 😅

I really enjoy Mile (Kinn's actor's) microexpressions in his acting, from his awkward funny faces for the right moments or his subtley dangerous energy when the scene calls for it. This was Mile's first major role - he had only done stage acting in college before this and commercials, and Apo (Porsche's actor) mentored him quite a bit. They both have different approaches to their acting that really complement each other in these characters.

Cute bonus info. Mile actually kept the handcuffs from this episode. He didn't say that he kept them, but he has a room at home where he has livestreamed from his desk a few times. He has a display on a small cupboard next to his desk, only half of it is visible from the screen view, but after the series was filmed, the handcuffs showed up as one of the things on that display 😊 You can see them some times, depending on how his laptop is positioned.

Episode 6 is a masterpiece! Not only because it's fluffy and romantic and funny, but mostly because it gives Kinn a chance to apologize and for Porsche to see that he really means it. It's the foundation of their relationship and love ❤❤❤

if you want a thai bl that will have you go "omg where is your award" you need to watch 'I told sunset about you' and 'not me' trust me!!!

For Thai BL about real queer experience I would recommend «Moonlight Chicken» and «I Told Sunset About You». They have both won awards for their scripts and acting. You can think of BL in 3 catagories: Queer Storytelling, BL and Lakorns with two male leads. They’re all different in genre. Good examples: The Sign, Never Let Me Go, My School President, Only Friends, My Last Twilight, My Stand-In, A Tale Of a Thousand Stars, Cherry Magic. ^^ All these has won awards at serious award shows, also outside of Thailand.

the overarching theme of this episode being the way they CHOOSE each other at the end of it all drives me absolutely batshit insane tbh. something i don't see a lot of people mention about the ending is the fact that kinn chose to give porsche the knife - their ONLY tool for survival. he had no way of knowing they would be rescued soon after, he was dooming himself to wandering the forest at a disadvantage as long as it meant porsche had better odds of getting out. and just, kinn also resigning himself to a lifetime of lying to his family, his father and his brothers, JUST so porsche can get away from this life and all the violence and the bloodshed, just so he can be safe and have his dream. kinn was prepared to break his own heart and live the rest of his life with the consequences of that just for porsche to be free. and when porsche heard those shots he turned around SO fast, there was no hesitation in the way that man came running back onto the scene to save kinn. something about the symbolism of porsche running away from the dream he'd spent years creating in his head back towards kinn is just so... i need to lay on the ground for a while tbh

You see, the series writers are aware of what's right that's why they put that conversation when they fall the cliff, so don't listen to these "fans" about this series is just fictional because BL series is a platform to give LGBTQIA+ visibility, representation and voice to mainstream media. I think KinnPorsche was one of the first shows to display any kind of conscience about the dubious consent start to the relationship. Previously, quite a few of the shows have a grapey undertone where one character forces their attention on the other, acts with dubious consent but then it's all sweetness afterwards. See: Tharn Type for example. A really popular show but starts out with one character doing things like kissing and giving hickies to the other in his sleep and forcing him on the other in the shower. The Type character is already a victim of SA as a child so imagine the trauma. But then they end up together anyway with nothing said about any of that. And it's a repeated theme in a number of shows!

Well, that was fun! 😂 It's been a year but if I'm not wrong: The two actors were freezing their butts off in the water. Porsche's actor didn't like the fruit AT ALL! Edit: oh and it was either the shows's Twitter account, the actors or the audience who explained "how to take off your shirt while handcuffed to your lover" :) And as always, your jokes were priceless 😂😂😂 I can't wait for the special episode and ep 7 :) P.s. ohhh it sounds like your next bl series might be Bad Buddy :) cough a tale of 1000 stars is also in the same universe as bad buddy since their special episodes consists of these two series' main characters interacting with each other so it might be a good idea if you watched both of them cough

About criminal singers, and wanting to be a singer was far from crime, and if there were any criminal singers out there. It's not fully the same, but did you forget about Kim, the youngest brother in this mafia family.. and a singer 😄 It's actually interesting that Kinn wanted to be a singer, but Kim as Kinn's younger brother got that opportunity instead, whilst Tankhun who was supposed to have the main responsibility, instead got a twisted sort of freedom, in being too unstable to lead. The one who is stuck with the responsibility that he actually doesn't like, is Kinn.

i saw someone else recommending it so here’s your second comment telling you to watch “the eighth sense!” it’s my favorite drama of any genre, and it’s very well written. it’s not really sexual like kinnporsche, just a story about college students discovering sexuality and overcoming trauma. also, i’ve watched a few BLs and kinnporsche isn’t really my favorite, but if you guys do end up liking this style i suggest looking into “only friends.” it’s a very mature drama and deals with a ton of heavy topics (addiction, depression, unhealthy dynamics, etc). it has a similar “morally grey” plotline to kinnporsche, but i personally enjoyed it much more. it might be up your guys’ alley!

I know y'all are getting FLOODED with BL recommendations, but another one you should watch after this is Love in the Air! A lot of fans sort of headcanon it to take place in the same universe as Kinnporsche, because two of the main characters could be the children of two of the KP couples, in the way they act and stuff. It doesn't have a lot of plot besides the two main couples' lovestories, and there are some consent issues (as is, unfortunately the standard with Thai BL), but especially the second half of the show really deals with it well, and shows what recovery can look like in a very nice way

This is honestly the most important episode in the series in my opinion. it's what makes kinn x porsche a couple really because if they didn't nail this, their relationship just wouldn't hit well. like this episode is so critical for establishing their relationship (also I heard y'all reference bad buddy :P I really do hope you check it out because it is soooo good and a very different show compared to kinnporsche)

Kinn suspects that Vegas was the one who drugged Porsche and knows that Vegas was ordered by Gun (Vegas' father) to get close to Porsche for some reason. Kinn wants to know why so he ordered Pete to follow Vegas. Unfortunately stealth is not Pete's forte.

I've read that the opening theme in Thai reflects Kinn's perspective and the closing in English reflect's Porsche's perspective.

If you would like to watch another Thai BL I recommend: I Told Sunset About You: a coming of age self discovery story. Not Me: talks about social issues like corruption, etc. A Tale Of A Thousand Star: really cute story about a lonely forest ranger who meets a spoiled kid with a tragic life (my personal favorite).

also i recommend the eclipse or moonlight chicken for healthy couples and representation but not me has a lot of adventures and has great representative of the enviroment and all that. you would and will love all three im sure

OMG I’m having the BEST time watching y’all go through absolutely every emotion I went through when it came out originally. Imagine having to wait a whole week! lol. I’m so glad y’all made it through the rough stuff..fair warning…there’s more rough stuff…but like you said the story is good and the motivations and back stories are very revealing. Nothing is what it appears to be. Just like real life.

Yes(You should watch Bad Buddy afterwards)It's an amazing series that roots from an enemies to lovers storyline.

I don't know why some subtitles will subtitle the cursing and some wont but when they're saying "Fudge" its "Fuck" when they're saying darn its "Damn". After you're doing watching this series I think you should watch the BTS it gives you even more insight on the characters by the people playing them

Yes, Kinn's entire thing is that he blames his actions on everyone around him. Even as things get worse. He will always say he does those things because of his father. So this is a spot on catch on Kinn's character.

You know. it never really occurred to me before, but I wonder if that's why Kinn's youngest brother became a musician, because he didn't have as much pressure to be in charge of the mafia business, so he got to go live out a dream his big brother had for himself, thanks to having more freedom to do what he wants.

This series is the type of series that makes you feel so much things. It leaves you with so much thoughts and emotions, that you don’t know how to process it at times. I really think I felt like that when this series ended, cause I did get in fact got attached to many of the characters. Like watching this episode when I did for the first time, I cried when Kinn told Porsche to leave. It’s the way that Kinn was willing to go through the consequences of losing Porsche for the sake of Porsche’s happiness. He wanted to let Porsche go cause he loved him. However, how he kicked that rock showed that he kinda regretted it and was mad at himself for letting him go. It’s very much understandable. These are the moments where he can see the humanity in Kinn. Especially with how he was able to communicate to Porsche about the stress and hard work he is put under. Mainly because Tankhun is the oldest but he has trauma from what happened to him as a child. Therefore, he is is the way he is because of that. He is coping the way he knows how, by acting in this particular way. Even when Kinn said he wanted to be a singer but didn’t become one is because at such a young age he was put under this role. Therefore, Kim was the one who was able to become an artist/singer. Him being the youngest, yet he was the one who was able to move away from his father. It’s because he doesn’t like being in this mafia world, he copes with it being WIK. He does the things he does regarding Chay, is because he has no other choice in a way. Like he doesn’t like doing what he does, but this is his life/family at the end of the day and he’s just coping how he knows how. That’s why he prefers being WIK than Kim. He doesn’t trust his father at all, and we could see that last episode. All of three brothers are coping how they know how, even Vegas. There is a specific reason why it’s Kinn that is appointed to be the one in charge, but that’s all I’m going to say. Anyway, can’t wait to see your reaction to the side story! 🥰🫶🏼.

More Than Words [BL is not the main focus of this show but the queer characters raw thought-process. The Ending might not suit to your taste's] 2. I think that hearing you guys' reactions to a Thai BL that is actually really focussed on exploring queer issues, themes, politics, and realities would be very interesting to hear/see. So if you guys will continue reacting to another Thai BL series after finishing this one, I hope you're going to pick something that's more than a Thai BL equivalent of a bodice ripper/harlequin romance (no shade because those are fun too, but I think reactions are more interesting when there's more substance to a series!). Here are a couple of suggestions: - I Told Sunset About You (a coming-of-age story about identity with gorgeous cinematography and very strong acting) - Not Me (the most political Thai BL drama so far, with a melodramatic thriller/action plot but also great social commentary) - 3 Will Be Free (explores different sexualities and gender identities/presentations, touching also upon polyamory) - 180 Degree Longitude Passes Through Us (artsy, almost play-like exploration of generational gaps) - Moonlight Chicken (features gay characters of different ages)

But remember, Kin doesn't kiss anyone on the mouth, so he pulls away. This is one of my favourite episodes I seriously have watched this series 10 times I love watching your channel I'm always looking forward to you watching each episode I can't wait for your reactions in the coming episodes

When you finish the series look back on this episode, I genuinely think its the most important episode in the series. Also there is a crimelord singer, Kinns younger brother Kim! Which is very interesting theres lots of headcanons about if Kim became a singer because his big brother did it, if Kinn is happy about it that someone could live out his dream or if he's jealous of Kim its very interesting. p.s. there is in fact alot of daddy kink fanfiction about chan (daddy bodyguard) particularly him with big ( the one with the ponytail in love with Kinn who makes eyes with Chan alot)

After watching KinnPorsche you guys should really watch Until We Meet Again it’s a great love story about reincarnation and families coming to terms with their child’s sexuality.

Strongly reccomend the series Not Me when you're done with this one - it's so good, I know you guys would love it

After this y'all should def watch I Told Sunset About You!!!! It's my absolute favorite bl with the most amazing award-winning actors, great music, beautiful cinematography, and story. I could go on and on about how great it is.

Falling Into The Chasm Initially, I thought this scene was unnecessary, but considering the writers' intentionality with everything so far, it's clear this was not a placeholder. After a great time in the woods, they must return to the mafia world. The critical question is whether they can bridge the gap between who they are in the woods and who they must be in the "real world." Can either of them cross over into the other's world? The answer remains uncertain, but their fall into the chasm indicates it won't be easy. Bridging both worlds is impossible; someone will have to change... there is no turning back. The depth of the chasm is also significant. Realistically, they should have at least broken limbs( but we'll overlook that). This depth signifies that no matter what happens next, they are in too deep-emotionally and otherwise to go their separate ways . Vegas is acutely aware of Porsche's importance to Kinn and He also knows that Porsche is important to Papa Korn ( he does not know why ..but he knows he is ), making Porsche perpetual leverage even if Kinn lets him go. Handcuffed or not, they are bound to each other. This is displayed soon after Porsche's release when, within minutes, he is back rescuing Kinn. In the same incident, Kinn attempts to rescue him, resulting in both of them being shot. Even the way they fall is significant. If anyone still doubts Kinn's feelings, it's clear he will do ANYTHING for Porsche ( From Porsche's first job, Kinn acted more like Porsche's bodyguard, protecting him from witnessing a beating and risking himself to ensure Porsche wasn't mortally wounded.... literally protecting him with his life. (I think this serves another purpose as well, but explaining would result in spoilers.) The writers have masterfully played the audience, constantly bringing us to the edge and pulling us back in... and i am here FOR IT ... I can watch this series a million times. and find something interesting ...

Do remember to check once even if credit rolled at the end of episode, bc there will be side story, which isn't shown in the episode, check them.

Truly, ep6 is one of my faves in this series. So much happened. And the vulnerability, the subtle sweetness, and the selflessness from both of them willing to sacrifice themselves for the other!!!!

28:26 yes seriously, before cutting the whole hand off you should just try to dislocate your thumb. If that doesn't work, break a finger or part of the hand, even crushing the hand a lot. That would mean much less bleeding and chances to recover. If that wouldn't work and you really need to cut something just start with one finger or the thumb or both. Less bleeding and easier to live without just a finger or thumb than no hand at all. Thinking of going for the whole hand right away is crazy! Like not only because it seems unnecessary but also the bleeding if you cut the wrist.

This IS one of the best episodes imo but also, the ending of episode 7 left me literally speechless, so there's plenty of good to come. The actor who plays Porsche blew me away in this (and the next) episode! I really love his acting!

i cant wait til my favourite couples come in ;D theres 2 more couples other than kinn and porsche. Thats something i like a lot about BL, theres usually more than 1 couple, theres a main couple and then theres the side couples, but they show the storyline of those other couples aswell as the main couple. About corruption in political/police/justice systems in Thailand. (other options with similar themes are: Manner of death and Laws of attraction, but Not me is the most popular). A tale of a thousand stars - A great story, good introduction to BL. Less queerness but a very interesting look into more traditional Thai culture/life in the mountains up north. Bad Buddy - More of a "traditional" "typical" BL, so it's a popular choice for first BL. Set in uni with an enemies to lovers trope. The main couple have great chemistry. This one has a GL side couple! My school president - Similar to Bad Buddy, it's a more standard typical BL. Highschool boys in a band. Great (original) music and the main couple is amazing, great actors & singers with amazing chemistry. It's a very cute show. Has good side couples. I told sunset about you - Very well produced again. More about self-discovery around queerness. Actors are amazing. Korean BL: The eighth sense - Actors are great and have amazing chemistry. The cinematography is beautiful. Deals with mental health issues in a great way. Semantic error - More of a "standard" BL again. Uni and enemies to lovers. I'd say the #1 most popular Korean BL. The actors again are amazing together. Japanese BL: Cherry magic - Very much a comedy BL. Very cute story about men in an office, so early 30's. Different from all the uni stories. If i think of any more I will add them.☺

100% agree with everyone suggesting Not Me next! But also, I'd love to watch y'all react to Only Friends. The cast all kill it and it's so messy (drama, betrayal, morally grey characters, romance)!
