That line on the tachometer is to indicate 540 "Economy". It is the lowest RPM that the tractor should be allowed to operate an implement at. If you use that speed, it should only be used for very easily operated implements such as a generator, log splitter, post hole digger, ect. Never for box scrapers, rotary cutters, or the like.

Kyle, this is Mike Schramke. Thanks for your question. I can certainly see why Bobcat considers is a solid business decision. They have an existing dealer network in place, as well as a loyal customer base. Some of the customers that have purchased construction equipment, may return to their Bobcat dealer for a tractor. Daedong has the available capacity at their Korean plants, so any tractors that they paint white is "plus business" for them. From my point of view, it hasn't affected my business. I tend to think that whatever number of Bobcats are sold, the majority will be to their existing construction customers. I'm cool with it.

My ck 2610 HST is the same and they told me the same.

The selling dealer is correct, but as a helpful hint, before setting the loader down and parking the machine, put it in neutral, then lower the loader, then shut it off. The loader's weight binds up the shift linkage.

Troy M I wouldn’t do it. Yes it will work, but you could easy trade for a new tractor for the same money.

@@LSE_TRACTOR I appreciate the response especially on Mother's Day! My tractor only has 160 hours and its perfect and reliable. I suppose I would look at the Ck 35 or 40hp, but I believe those have emissions on them?
