Hands down best engines out there. Love my Kioti. 6000 hours and still like new. From 20 below zero to 100 plus degrees, never any issues. Very well built tractors. Would only trade it for another
Great review! I have 110 hours on my CK3510 and have had no problems. This is my first tractor, and I could not be more pleased. The dealer I bought from is about a 30 minute drive away, and they are a great family owned dealership. Really nice people!
Just traded for my second Kioti. Traded my workhorse DK5010 for a RX7320. I needed a bit more hp to pull a batwing and wanted a cab. Running a grapple and tree puller with my DK5010 has really impressed me. Lots of power, great lift capacity and the rear 3 point lever are amazing.

Nice tractor; Kioti tractors are about like Unicorns around here, people sweat they exist, but really seem more like myths than facts. My brother drove out of state to get one. His only reget iis he got a gear rather than HST; fine little tractor. I traded in my Kubota L5030HST in on a L5740HST+ before the L6060 came out as I have problems with my left leg and can't use the brakes mounted on the left. I wouldn't rate either brand as "better" than the other though I believe the Kioti has a bit stronger loader. I enjoyed your review; thanks for posting.
Own a dk35se. Great powerful machine. Parts are expensive and somewhat hard to find if you don’t live near a dealer but overall is a awesome compact tractor. 😊
Just purchased a 2021 Kioti and I love the size and feel of it. No vibrations like the Green Machines I have tested. I can use it quite easily and it has a lot of strength and pull behind it the 60 cut mower is also a great benefit. Easy on and easy off. all control are easy a accessible. This is a roughed machine and it comes standard with so many other features I would have had to pay for on the other one I tried out. This is also thousands of dollars cheaper this is no joke check out a Kioti Dealer near you and then go look at other tractors there really is no comparison.
I own 2 Kioti's. 2003 DK45 and 2015 2410 for tight work in my orchards. Both are great. The DK 45 has 2,900 hrs and has had a few issues, but most either caused by the operator (!) or expected after all the really hard work. It's an open station, gear shift which I prefer on the larger tractor and for work in the woods. The 2410 is hst which is great for snow blowing (2 peddles!). Have a cab on that which I built with help from the dealer. They've been great tractors for me. Kioti customer service is a disaster. I rely on my dealer and other farmers for assistance.
Great video Sandy. Let me get one thing out of the way before I go on: it is absolutely not necessary to plant your whole foot on a Kubota “treadle” pedal to rock it back and forth for forward/reverse motion. You can run the tractor with the toe of your boot (pushing down) in both forward and reverse direction. In fact in some ways it’s more intuitive than a left/right pedal on a Kioti or Deere, since you slide your foot back a bit for reverse, and then forward again for forward motion. Some people do in fact use the treadle and “rock” the pedal, but most don’t - they simply slide their foot back and forth as described - much the same as you, except you move your foot in a different direction. That aside... I did a tremendous amount of research before I bought my Kubota L4060 (cab), and although Kioti seemed like a good option based on specs vs cost, the lack of a decent size dealership in my (Kingston) area made it a non-starter. As you mentioned, I think the thing that first time (non-commercial) tractor owners often forget is that dealerships for long term parts, service, and ADVICE are critical for tractor ownership. The second mistake is buying based on loader lift specs. Some tractor companies spec their loader/backhoe capacities differently, and it’s like comparing apples to oranges. Most people will rarely use their full loader capacity anyway. The Kubota Grand L and your Kioti are actually incredibly similar, especially the cab - right down to the back and side windows, foot controlled tilt steering, flat floor, external mirrors, and much more - it all looks much the same! In fact I wouldn’t be surprised if the cabs are supplied by the same company. The only thing I wish I had is the rear 3 point lift control, but I plan to make my own. My Kubota L4060 is only a year old and still has under a hundred hours, but whether blowing snow in the freezing cold, bush hogging in deer-fly infested 35C heat, or pulling up massive rocks from my acreage north of Perth with my HLA grapple, it has met and usually exceeded my expectations in every way. Hence, as you do with your Kioti, I would highly recommend my Kubota Grand L it to others. Cheers!

At 6,-2” and size 13 feet I couldn’t use the Kubota as you describe. That was my primary “feature” issue against kubota. Add in that the 3510SE is fully equipped and was still $3000 less than a bare stock 3301, with 2hp less , less capable loader, and minus all the SE - it was an easy choice. If you compare to a Grand it is more like 10k but they aren’t really comparable. The Grand is targeted at a different buying segment. Perhaps the DK world be a better choice
Extra Acct I was in fact comparing the Kubota Grand L to the Kioti DK series (not SE) since that’s what Sandy was reviewing. I’m quite sure at 6’2” and size 13 feet you’d have absolutely no problem with the toe use of the treadle pedal in the Kubota Grand L. My feet are nearly as big as yours at size 12 and I have lots of extra room behind my heel. Also, while I am not quite that tall, I have tons of head room and leg extension to stretch out. Again, I’m only referring to the Grand L here. Some of the other Kubota’s have the pedal in somewhat different locations. That said, they can’t be all that difficult to use because they sure sell a ton of tractors! I think it’s just a matter of getting used to it, much like any other unique product features.
Happy Anniversary! I bought my DK55 in October of 2007 and can honestly say, it was/is the best investment I ever made. I LOVE it!!! and it is used almost every day of the year. I snow blow my driveway (and neighbours) and work my small farm. My next door neighbour uses it (he's a water well driller) to lift and move equipment. Anyway, enough about me. By the way, I forgot to say - I'm in Newfoundland and my Kioti has (approx.) 2000 hours on it and (shame on me) I honestly don't give it the care it deserves, yet it always comes back for more.
That's good to hear that your CK has gotten alot of use and is just as reliable as mine. I think the tractor of mine will be around for quite some time if it keeps up like this.

First tractor was a refurb 30hp Yanmar, 2nd was a Kioti LB 1914 (20hp), had it for 7 years and then bought a new (2017) Kioti CK 35 (35 hp). I am Kioti for life. TOTALLY reliable and easily maintainable! I sold the LB1914 for about $1500 less than what I paid (i put about 600 hours on it) and it was a bargain for the buyer. Built in North Carolina, parts are easy to get. Once my CK 35 is paid off I will buy a 55-60hp model so I have two for various farm tasks.
Thank you for such a detailed review of this tractor. We also live in Ontario and are moving up to North Bay area soon and thinking about a purchase. We bought a John Deere riding lawnmower and it literally burst into flames 20 hours into use and John Deere basically told us our insurance should cover it so F off sooooo no JD products. Kuboto seems a possibility. Never heard of this one. Will check it out in our current area of Windor/Essex.
My Kioti is 5 years old have not had the first bit of trouble. Even though it sits idle for 5 months a year in a snow covered barn in the rocky mountains. Just following the manual and so far so good. I run it at PTO speed mostly which for my Kioti is about 200 rpm lower than the competitors. After hundreds of hours that is a lot fewer revs.
Excellent review. I went with a ck4010 for 2 main reasons, accessible from both sides and pedals instead of a rocker, lift capacity.... My foot would lift off the rocker when you are turned looking back over your shoulder.
Best review yet of the Kioti line. One of my hang ups about buying the Kioti tractor was the hydraulic lines located where they are and under the tractor. You showed where they are and how they are routed, which answered a lot of questions. In the time that you've had said tractor, have you ever hung any limbs, branches or rocks on them where they are mounted? It almost looks like an afterthought of how they mounted them. Just out in the open like that.
I love my 2014 dk40 se! I think it was the last year before they went to a regen motor on the newer lines. I think it is the best “pound for pound” tractor available at any cost! As others have said, very similar to the grand L from Kubota. I’ve read a few owners ( maxing our the front end loader) having front bearing failures at 1000 hours. I plan on changing mine at 750 hours for peace of mind, $100 total for both sides. Another small issue is when I changed all the hydro oil, engine oil, and front axle gear lube, the front right drain didn’t drain much out. I think (from what I’ve read) that they have a problem when they manufactured it and there is an obstruction on the right front. Also you’ll need a 900 lb gorilla and 2 strong boys to loosen the hydrostat filter. That was a “son of a bitch to loosen.

Great video! I am in the process of buying my first tractor and after almost 1 1/2 years of research I am convinced the Kioti DK4720SE HST Cab is it. The price, lift capacity, features, a good dealership that is local, and I have not heard much if any negative reports about these Kioti tractors. The price against a similar John Deere is almost $12k less and then the Deere attachments are more than Kioti’s. I like the Deere, Kubota, and many others but for me the Kioti seems to be the best value per dollar. Your really well done video supports that. I seen where it’s real easy to mark your lug nuts and bolts from loosening by using a paint marker to mark there position by drawing a line across lug nut out about 1” on the rim. Then just a visual inspection will show you they’ve loosened.
No problem. Quebec certainly has it's share of weather events. Coldest skiing I ever did was in Mount St. Anne. Locals were probably laughing at me as I was freezing nearly to death haha

Yeah thats probably true about the hp rating. Nice to have more hp when needed. I'm currently hauling logs around and nice to have the bit of extra grunt
I have a DK45SE (same tractor)... im 95% with you. I would add some things to improve the product. I would like the rear hyd. levers to be placed on our right, not under the FEL loader joystick. and I would like defrost on the rear window even if I don't really need it. everything else is really nice... maybe also improve the radio antena that I broke the first year but never replace because its still working fine lol... the reste is perfect for that size tractor.
Bought a ck3510 hst. Brand new, and she is an animal. Easy to work on, and very stable platform. Love my kioti. But it rattle loose so a torque wrench is a necessary tool and loctite.

I know this is a older video. But I had to say......This is going to be long-winded.....I do own 1947 2N Ford. She does what she dos and dos it very well but...heavy work is not ANY Fords N strong point. So I have been looking in to getting a modern subcompact tractor to help me with the heavy chorus. I have been looking at other brands. Kubota, John Deere, Massey Ferguson. I have been in construction probably 15 years during my life time and never heard of Kioti brand intill I ran in to your channel about 6 or 8 months ago. I need it another tractor (modern one) for heavy work, like loader work ect. Thanks for the review.
HI! Sandy, Kioti's are great tractors, I was shopping them and TYM, and ultimately chose a TYM T474 (48.3Hp) another Korean brand and on closeout pricing for a 2019 model in July. I've put 25 hours on it already. My main purpose was for snow removal in winter. I got an MK Martin SB68 P/T inverted snowblower for this purpose.
@Patrick Elliott I'm using it on gravel, we got the 1st snow this weekend, so I won't get to use it until the ground is frozen and we get a good foot or so.
Every used Kioti that I have looked at cost more than the new one of the same model in our area. So we are buying a new one at a three thousand dollar discount to the used on available 18 miles from the dealership. These tractors hold their value! And they are overbuilt for the purposes that they are designed for.
Such an excellent thorough honest review! So very thankful for it and all the possitiive comments left here from other owners affirming your good opinion. We have 160 acres TX prairie land with half mile gravel drive and badly need a tractor. It's such a big purchase and hard to know what will be reliable and will it be hard to get parts for. Hoping to get at least a 50hp or more. Can't decide is it worth paying more for a closed cab or is that not that necessary.
Yeah it's a tough decision for sure. I find now that I"ve had the cab I wouldn't want to go without due to the comfort factor and all-weather capabilities (in a short sleeve shirt as well haha).
I have a 6010 bought it brand new shullett shift 1000 hrs I have used it in construction plowed snow moved snow have a backhoe on in I lift pallets of brick o truck and stadging I love it very good tractor I do my maintenance as in book . It's heaver than the green ones more steel I live I Make cap has great room and what he says is right steering like a great car my wife and my grandson can run it thanks
I think we are truly living in the golden age of compact tractors. They all are pretty good performers now days. It boiled down to dealers for me and I went with Kioti. My dealer is 8 miles from me and they are great folks. I got a DK 4710 se last year and could not be happier. I only have about 50 hours on it but so far its been zero problems.
Except for Yanmar. I have a great Yanmar dealer 6 miles away, but they don't have a competitive compact with 35-40 hp and a mid PTO. The YT235 doesn't lift enough (350 lbs less than comparable tractors) and the next size up YM342 doesn't offer a mid PTO. I don't understand that gap in their line-up.
I’m in Ontario as we’ll, near Ottawa and operate much the same; 40 acre forest, sawmill, hobby farm. Need to replace my open station case that’s older than I am. For features though… inside, those gears look new. I like Kioti design and value but the dealers listed on Kioti’s website within an hour of me don’t even mention that they sell Kioti on their own websites, often with a different brand headlining their business. Really comes down to a few of the common brands here; shame as the prices are high for them. Looking at floating something from quite far… 1,000 km / 600 mi type distances. I also need a private sale to avoid tax (13% here) as I’m not a business, and our Canadian dollar doesn’t help.
Great clip direct and on point, I see guys complaining about frivolous crap, I cant wait to get my new 7320 cab. I am in the Houston area near the ocean, its very hot and I will say you are a fool if you live in Texas and you don't get a closed cab. My first tractor was a 40 hp JD, a swarm of hornets ran my ass off that tractor, I was about 30 ft from my pond before they stopped chasing me. I left that tractor where it died for 8 days before I got the nerve to go take the key out. Kioti has a very good AC unit that works immediately. I will probably add window tint to the upper part of the cab and order a grapple for the bucket. I have seen a guy on a Kioti tractor that was completely covered with bee he had it in high gear with the windshield wipers on driving to the next field, thanking god he had a closed cab.
About your cab lights, get some seen lights from RIGID they light up a lot more and are flush install on the cab youll never rip off,If you use your tractor at night specially for snowblowing during winter get a light bar youll have so much light youll be like daytime, for a few hundred dollars.
Good review! I'm coming up on 700hrs on my 2011 DKSE HST. I replaced the ignition switch throwing parts at an intermittent start issue, but it ended up being the positive connector to the battery, replaced that and its started well ever since. My buddy bought a set of hay equipment and I've run a 9' haybine quite easily on it, and run an old 5' hardcore baler but 40hp can only make a 4' bale in that and is a bit hard on it IMO. Its a good size tractor though, and can pretty much do most farm utility tractor duties, wheel barrow dead cars around, and move some dirt with a 7' box blade. I like the size and HST and considered trading for an NX6010 which is similar size with 50% more PTO power for that round baler, but my buddy has a big tractor for that.
A nice review, i am looking at small tractors too and a buddy just bought a second hand 100 hp and said he can always use it to make hay or resell it etc. Another buddy bought a 40ish hp Mahindra and said "don't buy a 26 hp" like i was thinking. No one ever complained about having too much horse power... A question: Was the short plank on the bush guard on the front stock or an aftermarket mod? :)
I believe its a homemade chainsaw holder. The bar of the chainsaw sits in the sheath with the powerhead to the sky it should be relatively safe during regular loader operations and gives the added bonus of being in the line of site so you don't accidently wreck your saw
Those are some wise words about no one ever complaining about having too much power. Believe it or not (joking by the way), that custom board on the front grill guard of the tractor is not from Kioti but rather a high-end , custom fabricated wood chainsaw holder made by me. I'm waiting at home for Kioti to call me with endorsements of that plank product haha
If my Nx6010 was running I would drive it through the dealers front window, but I had to walk back to the barn for the 4th time in 3 years. One thing after another. Absolute junk. Spent a fortune on repairs in 1000 hours on tractor. Last repair bill 2 months ago $2243.59. Before that $ 1300 for a wiring harness. $2500 for bent bucket mounts. At 2 years front tires split open from dry rotted. Back tire fell off up in woods 2piecs rim separated. Overheats easily under any load , like brush hogging
Just arrived but not put together yet RX6620c at dealer, 3 rd function in front an 2 on rear for quick hitch and tilt , Question ? What is the hydraulic travel for the tilt cylinder 8” or 10” of travel?.. Research found JD 4066r with all I am getting to be about 24k difference, and don’t have all the features, NATT. I have two Kioti tractors. Both are 2005. The DK45 has had the most issues. The fuel tank cracked. The dealer said it was because the factory tightened the straps too tight. Nevertheless, I got to pay for the replacement and installation. Also the ignition switch is an issue. I’ve replaced one, and it is acting up again. Both of these are common issues per the dealer. I also have an issue of hydraulic fluid leaking because I can’t keep a tight seal where the rear housing connects. Another dealer told me that Kioti once had a problem with soft metal a would probably stand behind this. I contacted the Wendell, NC headquarters, but I never got a response. My DK65S has been a solid tractor. My biggest complaint on it is the Perkins three cylinder engine. It has great power, but it shakes a lot especially if you run at a lower rpm. Like you, I like the features that came standard on the Kioti, but would cost extra on other brands. Would I buy again? Probably not. Kioti should do recalls on their fuel tanks, switches and any soft metal issues or at least warranty these. And, they should respond to inquiries.
I had kioti for 2 years 2017 model alot of issues for me and cracked faded color in the tractor and kept in closed building, had tons of hydraulic issues and problems with hydrostatic transmission, I could go on and on I know there is bad ones in every brand and glad u got a good one, and kioti customer service Is the devil most hateful people i have ever talked to, so trying kubota for now had it over a year and half now and no issues and it gets worked a good bit, and like I said there is good and bad ones in every tractor manufacturer and the dealer where you purchased your tractor makes the difference as well. So glad you haven't had issues with yours.
Same here mine was a 2017 model issue after issue and worst for me was kioti customer service if I could leave kioti customer service a rating it be a 0 or worse if I could.
I bought a used 2006 DK 45s a while ago and love it. I'm also in 'central' Ontario a bit SW of North Bay. I haven't had occassion to need a dealer for either parts or service but what dealer do you use?
I really enjoyed your review....one of the best I've watched. Thanks! I'm thinking of stepping up to a Kioti RX 7320 in the near future. I bought a New Holland TC-40D in '03, and have been very happy with it, but tractors have come a long way since then, and I have different needs now. I will disagree with one thing you stated a couple of times. Tractor storage. I don't keep mine in a garage, but it has been under cover since new, and it still looks new as a result. Just a simple shed roof over it to keep the rain, snow, sun and wind blown debris off, make a huge difference over all. Just my 2 cents worth. Thanks again!
I find that rust check eats certain types of rubber.... I expect it softened the boots enough to tear. Mine has flaking paint too, but the more I look at all the brands it’s very common, they choose to forgo the primer, even our half million dollar cat equipment has paint flaking within a year. Drives me absolutely crazy.
U may want to ask the dealership if they got any silicone base boots 👢 itt... perhaps if they dew.. they may last longer..but all - n all .. nice Tractor 🚜 👌 👍 👏 br0..

I haven’t felt a need for more horsepower to be honest. The DK size has been a great platform for what I do. I run a 78” Mk Martin meteor snowblower on the back

Thanks for watching. I'll try to remember to get out and measure them more precisely but if my memory serves me right they're about 8' total in length. They are zip tied to the frame that supports the loader and then they come up between the hood of the tractor and the loader arms.
I have a neighbor who has a DK45SE dealer actually plumbed the hydraulic hoseses to the front in hard pipe except at the very front where the flex was needed, very Proffessional installation. 2yrs and never a leak or problem and only $145 extra cost he's extremely happy with his tractor on 35 acres.
I think it's compact, some models smaller then this get called subcompact. To be honest, now that you mention this I'm not sure what category tractors start to not be called compact. Thanks for checking out my video.
Made in South Korea. Since Daedong makes their own steel, why cover the tractor with plastic. It cracks, shrinks with age, then breaks. The vulnerability in the video is obvious. Daedong motors are said to be high quality. Designed for ease of DIY maintenance the commentator points out is major plus. But my questions be is how easy can you order repair parts? Can you order online or do you have to travel to a dealership? Also who works on these tractors should a major problem arise?
I find that the "plastic" is quite durable and most of the major manufactuers use this same material for fenders and so I figure there must be a good reason for that. My tractor will be repaired by my local Kioti dealer if that need arises. I haven't had any major break downs in the last 3 years since I've owned this tractor so I can't comment on that. Parts can be ordered anywhere I've found but I haven't really had to order much aside from filters for typically hourly maintenance.
