I've been awake awhile now, so sorry you're community is enduring this attack .... Praying about how I can best help, have donated some, but the needs are great so I will continue to give as I can. My cleaning job was cancelled for tomorrow but my client paid me anyway so it's going straight to someone in need on Maui. She has been to Lahaina several times herself, perhaps I've inspired her to give too .. I really want to come help .... What are your thoughts on this? I would stay in a tent in someone's yard and be low maintenance and can feed myself.. would love the opportunity to just clean up or help start some garden beds or whatever is needed .. maybe the plane ticket from BC Canada should just go to a struggling family instead? Altho if I do come I'm gona cry and kiss the Aina when I arrive.. Maui changed my life ..I spent two years all over the island, Lahaina first place I stepped foot after sailing over from Moloka'i on a friend's trimaran. Dolphins, whales , honos..magical ... I see not one tear from this Mayor of Lahaina. His heart is hardened and only Jesus Christ can help may justice reign for the innocent people who are suffering from this obvious purposed fire and I pray for justice for all who were killed in this horrific fire. May the truth come out and people in Hawaii speak out for justice and the whole world so this will never happen again.
