@@sxi9852 you can, it will refresh the shield duration PLUS let the first shield DMG absorption stack on top of the 2nd one. although doable without sac, it's a good way to optimize her defensive capability

Got baizhu in 20 pulls while pulling for 4 stars on the banner then i decided build him with 50k hp with prototype amber for my nilou bloom team. all i can say is he lowered my teams dmg output. i was doing more dmg when i had yaoyao on his slot. He's not a shielder btw its like a paper shield lol

I can kinda see dehya working in a ganyu melt team but really not much else. Plus, the test is an extreme scenario. I doubt you'll ever find yourself in a situation where the other shields aren't sufficient

but you can deal more damage without interruption, especially nowadays you have to face the beasts scorpion and shit

Got Zhongli for 3 years now. He is still the best for me, and I play safe, too. So his shield can last until his skill cooldown again👍

Thoma would be a million times better. Dehya's interruption resistance only works for 9s of her skill. Thoma's shield becomes around the same strength as Zhongli's if properly stacked by doing normal attacks, which Wanderer uses.

Or build a 4 star with an actual shield and regenerative shield health, who can buff wanderers damage at C6, and give an additional 20% attack buff on pyro absorption when doing Wanderers skill. Hmm. @@fbi-sama9052 compare the c6 of a four star with the C2 of a permanent, Decisions decisions. Brother, I'll just say something, I don't like Dehya, they made her a shitty 5-star character depending on her constellations, but I'm sure of one thing, it's much better to just touch the E and already have all the benefits, than to be accumulating " loads" of a shield, better use Layla brother

@@arthur_0723 it takes the average player 90 wishes to get a five star. The permanent banner has not only characters but also 5 star weapons. We are looking at a huge amount of IF's and an even bigger amount of whishes. Not to mention that you would have to suffer from brain damage to spent primogems on permanent banner. Not to mention that losing 50/50 on promotional is never good. Even worse if it's Dehya instead of an actual useful unit like Mona or Tighnari. And Thoma is an old unit, so most people have at least a C1 or C2. Saying it's better to get a C2 permanent 5 star than using a 4 star that actually stops damage instead of mitigation. I can smell the copium from here. Layla, as I use her with Wanderer, is at her best when used on freeze team. Problem is you want to have both HP for shield and ER to keep her ult applying cryo, along with Tenacity for buff. And there is only 2 HP swords in the game. One is a 4 star that released this banner, and the other is a limited 5 star weapon. And her shield has to stacks strength over time, which makes it really difficult to use since it lasts only for 12 secs and will break before it gets to it's strongest.
